Meh
I find this style too loose. I bought xxs small and still it was not slim fit. Also, the fabric does not stay crisp for very long. It fades and it is not the same quality fabric as it used to be.

E. Fisher sizing is still harder to predict
Way too big, but that is Eileen Fisher, and my problem is that I need long sleeves (not on this one of course) and ample back space, but I have slim hips. This fit like a burnoose and except for being sleeveless would have worked well in a country where women must cover their bodies completely.

Fabric choice
There was nothing wrong with the dress. I have this in a different fabric and love it. I didn't care for this style in this fabric. Just my own preference . I returned it.

The Best
I have purchased earlier versions of this dress, but in terms of fit through the bust and shoulders and drape over the stomach and hips, this is the best. It looks good solo and even better with a matching sweater or an embroidered jeans jacket. EF, when it works and plays well with others, is indispensable to my wardrobe!

Good, basic dress
This is a good looking, very comfortable dress. Side slits might have been a nice addition, but it works without them too. I am 5'4", 140 lbs., curvy on top, bought the Petite Medium and it fits, although a bit full in the skirt/hip area.

Arm Hole Problem
I have this same dress in another color and I love the fit and style; however, the one I purchased in the color Pacifica stuck out weirdly at the bottom of the arm hole, so much so that I would be embarrassed to raise my arms.

Nice Dress BUT…would not buy again.
Don’t attempt to spot clean! The tencel fabric is not colorfast. It stains easily and any place you have tried to spot clean prior to washing will leave faded rings on the material. I ordered another dress of the same kind and material because I had a nice jacket that matched it.

Nice length, less nice shape
I found this dress clingy around the hips and otherwise kind of shapeless in my normal size and far too big all over one size up. I love the long length and the color (pacifica is a gorgeous deep teal) but found the cut very unflattering for my curvy/slightly hippy shape. I'll be returning, but this might be nicer on someone with a straight-up-and-down figure.

I am returning this dress. Normally a Petite Large works. I usually wear a Medium but needed Petite for the length. The dress is very clingy around the hips. Quality is good. Sad to return.
