F/L Straight Pant BLACK
I purchased these for both my sister and myself. I had walked into the SF EF store and the sales representatives were conversing about these pants. They were on sale. I know our sizes so made the purchase. I asked my sister to call me and be honest about these - she loves them. She stated she will wear a higher shoe because they were a tad long. Same for me, however I am glad I did not go down to Petite sizing as they would be too tight.

Worth some effort on my part
These are soft and comfortable pants. They feel great against my skin, which has nerve damage from scoliosis. They are too long, even though I bought the correct size. However, I like them so much I am going to shorten them, I haven't found anything else to compare with them

Great Stretch Jersey Knit Straight Pants
I love these pants! Honestly, I want to wear Eileen Fisher pants all the time! They fit well, wash well and wear well.

Fabric an Issue
Unfortunately I returned this. I thought the material was too thin and it didn't fall well. What I did like, however, is the 9 inch straight leg, full length, which is what I wore for years. I wish EF could be convinced to bring this style pant back in a more substantial material such as the Ponte. The wide leg is not always flattering for a slim, petite woman. (The pant was also long and would have needed to be hemmed.) I am 5'2 104 pds and wear pp in EF pants.

Stretchy Comfort
These pants are wonderfully-stretchy and comfortable. The only change I would make is to find them in a petite size. I kept them, even though they're too long, to wear with heeled boots.

Great color and fabric!
Love these! I bought the matching jacket, and the combo makes a very comfortable chic suit. The pants were longer than usual, so I had to have them hemmed before wearing them. Otherwise, the fit is perfect.

Great fabric, easy to style and wear
I love this fabric and have these pants, tunic top, long and short camis and tshirts in it. Fabric and cut of everything is very comfortable and easy to style. I would love to have more pieces in “matching” colors. I recently took these pieces on a trip as my only clothes - and they performed beautifully. I also love the long dress in this fabric.

Best pants ever

This was a mail order, so I was unable to try the pants. I'm very surprised that they are so long and will need to have at least two inches removed - every other trousers have been a perfect length.

Not for Petites
The Petite Large was designed for an extra tall woman. All the Eileen petites have always been the perfect length, but these were beneath my feet and I ended up cutting eight inches off the bottom.

So comfy, so stylish
I bought these in tan, and after wearing them the other night, went online the next day and bought them in the other three colors. They are soft and fluid and have a beautiful drape. I love the waistband. Highly recommended!

Nice pants but will need professional hemming
I have been wearing Eileen Fisher clothing for over 35 years and this is the first time I have purchased pants that are way too long. I see from reviews that it is not just me. How is it possible for an entire line of pants to be made longer than usual? Not sure if I am keeping when I will have to invest in tailoring as well.

Disappointed.
Disappointed in fabric. Wrinkles easily. When buying knits, I expect fabric not to wrinkle. The fit was perfect and the styling was spot on. Would not have returned if fabric had reached my expectations.

Fussy about fabric
I love the pants. They did come a bit long. I had to have them shortened and that takes a special sewing machine. They are beautiful with the I bought them for. The fabric was really nice. I definitely would recommend then to a friend.

TENCEL IS A POOR SUBSTITUTE FOR COTTON/WOOL
The tencel fabric you are selling as "jersey" in these and other items is thin and cheap. It attracts lint and does not hold its shape. It's indistinguishable from gets sold as sleepwear. BTW, large pockets are too casual for dressy pants. Am I going to fix someone's plumbing?

Unwearable length
I was so happy to receive these pants, until I tried them on.
The color rye is sophisticated, the drape is elegant, I like the pants have pockets.
The waistband pulled up to beneath my breasts, still left the pants too long to wear.
I wore one inch heel shoes and the leg opening fabrics touched the floor.
I’m 5ft 7inches.
Sadly I sent these back today.
Sadly too the customer service person whom I spoke w to make sure I completed the return doc properly, told me returns take up to one month to process.
By a month from now, I may be less excited to buy a different pair of pants than if I only needed ten days or so to maintain my shopping interest.
