Disappointingly thin fabric
This was my first Eileen Fisher purchase, and I was so excited to finally be making an investment purchase. These leggings are so thin, however, that I didn’t think they would survive a season and so I returned. The style is very nice so I was disappointed not to feel confident in keeping. I hope this is not how all pieces are, but right now I’m hesitant to try something else.

If the leggings weren't way too long, I'd give this 5 stars. If they were the same length as the high-waisted terry hug leggings, they would be just right.

I brought these after ordering them at my local Eileen Fisher. The petite length of the tights is too long. The skirt feels a bit too thin. It also feels like the size will "grow". That said, I will wear it occasionally but not as often as I hoped.

Disappointing but useable
I agree with other reviewers that the skirt is rather a joke - feels like something from Target! Odd since the leggings are a nice, slightly heavier weight than I usually find. I will keep the item because in my case it is too bulky to add a skirt on top of leggings. It is smoother and more comfortable to have them attached. Also because the leggings are very comfy and will feel good on cold days. Please add a heavier skirt next time. I do like the look. At my height (5'1") it looks great with a boxy cropped sweater.

Excellent style. Misses the mark in a few things.
I am a huge EF fan. Most of my wardrobe is Eileen. This style is wonderful, and I was really looking forward to wearing it. The fit is too big in the tights, and they are rather thick and long. The skirt sticks to the leggings and that is hardly flattering. The skirt should be a thicker fabric, like ponte. It needs to be more of a modified A line, just a little bit more room so it isn't a tube. The leggings should be a thinner yet opaque fabric. I can live with the longer leggings, but the thinness and shape of the skirt just doesn't work for me. Frankly, a pair of nicely fitting tights and a skirt that fits well might be a better choice. The quality of the skirt fabric is good, just seems to be the wrong weight for the style. Oh, and the skirt is a bit shiny. I gave them away.
