Great dress
Lovely all purpose dress that can be dolled up or played down. Fabric has a nice weight and drape, much more substantial than the fine jersey which is a plus to me, and it has a lot of stretch. Waiting to see how it washes, but I have high hopes that this dress will hold up well and be in my closet for a good time to come.

Size guessing!
If you’re like me, sizing has been hard to determine lately. I have been wearing a small or medium typically. Those sizes weren’t available so I just decided to guess and order a petite large, mainly because of the straighter style and the knit fabric. The size worked! I love the eggplant color and can’t wait to wear it with boots in the fall.

Exellellent for long and large size
I'm 6 ft and use size 3XL. This fits perfectly as a layering peace! Sleeves could always be longer for me, but these are ok too. Haven't washed this yet so can't comment on possible pilling. However, hopes are high!

Gorgeous dress
This is a great dress. Fabric is perfect weight, not clingy. Love the neckline. Can be worn everywhere dressed up or down. Perfect canvas for scarves and jewelry, mid length or short jackets. So glad I bought this dress!

DOESNT COMPLEMENT MY PETITE FRAME
I bought the Stretch Jersey Knit Jewel Knit Dress coz I have been checking EF clothing since last year. This is a nice dress; however, it doesnt look good on my petite height. Im 4'11, 95lbs. To me when I tried it, its just way ttoooo long and doesnt flatter my body; but I liked the softness of the dress and the minimalist style. It wpuld look great for someone taller though. After washing and using around the house, my husband said, its the only dress that I have that doesnt look good on me and it made me look older. I trust his views. Just too bad I washed it already. Im not sure if EF would accept return if already washed/no tags. Coz there's one other company that I shop that offers that.

Works Beautifully in all Sizes. I know.
In about 2.5 years, I lost about 90 pounds, down from 3x to 12-14. Originally, I purchased an EF dress, quite similar to this style, in a 3x, to hide bulk, AND be classy. Finally, I am growing more comfortable with my smaller size and am ready for clothes that actually fit, i.e., don’t cover. This is my choice for a dress, in large, with a perfect drape to reveal the reshaped me.

Doesnt complement my petite frame

A dress for all seasons
This jersey knit dress in size small fits me perfectly. It will work with several of my jackets. I purchased this for an upcoming trip and it will take me from day to evening. A very versatile dress and I highly recommend.

Great Adaptable Basic

Still a fan, but not of this dress
In my 30 years of buying Eileen Fisher clothing, this dress is one of my very few disappointments. It is far boxier than it appears to be in the photograph and looks more like a nightgown than a dress. The garment was heavily creased when I removed it from the packaging, and noticed the dreaded words "light iron" on the care tag, which was not mentioned on the website. The fabric also has a more synthetic look (and slightly greasy feel) than usual. The color is lovelyl!

A classic dress that will last for years
This classic slim fit dress is one of the reasons I still shop at EF. It’s well made, proportioned just right, and fits beautifully without being too tight or looking like a tent. It fits true to size like in the olden days. I bought my usual PS and did not have to size down. I was so happy with it I bought 2. I wish it came in more colors and in a cap sleeve version for summer like you had in the past. I still own and wear those ones, but the fabric is starting to show wear after 10+ years. Cap sleeves give a bit more coverage and look more polished than a tank style but are still great for warmer temps and more appropriate for those is us who are not quite so young anymore. Please EF, go back to your roots and make more of these high quality classic pieces that gave rise to your loyal following. You can have these alongside your relaxed/boxy styles, then everyone is happy!

Perfect layering piece

This dress has become my at-home uniform. Comfortable and easy to wear, dressed yet perfect for lounging. Having a dozen, the older, less perfect ones make nice winter nightgowns. Ankle length at 5’3.

Stretch Jersey Knit Jersey Jewel Neck Dress.
My favorite purchase this year. A classic style that can be dressed up or down; large silk scarf with flats or heels or statement jewelry. Comfortable and waist friendly. I have many EF short jackets that I will be able to style with this dress and cashmere ponchos.

Simple and elegant
I'm 5'4" and 130 pounds. Tried this in S and XS and stayed with the XS. It's a little tighter around my back side than I typically wear, but the S was baggy which I don't think is the best look for this dress. Throw a long silk scarf around my neck and this is comfy, elegant and a little sexy.

Unflattering style
I am a huge EF fan generally and wanted to love this dress, but the combination of a high neckline with a straight boxy fit is not flattering at all. Maybe if one is tall and rail-thin it is, but that is not most women. How about a redo of this dress with a more flatttering V-neckline and some tapering at the waist?

Just the dress I have been looking for going into the fall and winter seasons. A simple but classic style that looks great by itself or with necklaces or scarves. I can wear it with sandals, shoes or boots depending on the time of year and the occasion. I typically wear a small but the petite medium is perfect.
