Mid-weight, unlined flannel slacks
These slacks, bought on-line on sale, are nice. However, fit was an issue. I ordered my standard size (L) and the rise was so long that the elastic waist nearly reached my bra, the seat was quite baggy and etc. In other words, the fit was way off. Fortunately an M was still available and they fit much better. The marled camel-color fabric has a soft hand but I think will wear well; pockets are sewn of a rayon type fabric; the ankle length is fine for me. Although these will get plenty of wear, I would have preferred the cut/style to be more like the charcoal flannel slacks from a few seasons back: straighter and a bit longer. The four star rating is because of the overly generous fit.

pocket liner feels cold against skin
Comfy wool, but synthetic (polyester?) pocket lining feels cold against the skin. Would have been nice to have same wool for pockets. Elastic in waste seems overly large. I need to cinch elastic tighter to get comfy fit. Runs a bit large...consider sizing down if you want slimmer/tighter fit.

Comfy pants
I was so happy to see comfortable wool pants with pockets that I bought two pairs! I hope that EF brings them back every winter but with a couple of small changes: use better quality elastic that is tighter (the pants tend to shift from my waist easily) and make the pants legs longer. Winters are cold in my neck of the country and the shorter length makes my ankles cold!! Remember, it is easier to shorten pants that are too long than trying to make pants that are too short longer.

Reluctant return
Tried to like these pants for over a month, kept trying them on and could not get used to leg length rising and pockets gaping when trial seated. Narrow elastic waistband OK, but not with only 10 1/2" rise, kept pulling them up to fit at waist. length OK to bottom of ankle when standing, but felt money could be better spent on better fitting pants with waistband even though I had moon sweater I desperately wanted to match. Ordered normal size small for 5'2"

I tried this pant because I desperately wanted a pair wool pants this winter. The description says a slouchy fit. These were anything but. I have several slouchy fit pants to compare with & these were tight & seemed short in the stride. They had to be returned.

Where’s your quality control???
I just received these pants and tried them on & much to my dismay, one pant leg is shorter than the other! And it’s quite obvious. Evidently, I was sent someone’s return as it was not in the customary sealed plastic bag. The pants were wrapped in tissue paper.
For the price, I expect a bit more.
Another matter pertains to the listing. The pants were once listed under “petites” but now one has to click on the women’s listing for these pants in order to click on petite. Why? Please make it easy for us petite customers to locate your products. Also, while I’m at it, please offer more color selections and more items for your petite customers. Thank you.

Cozy trousers in beautiful colors!
Totally comfortable, cozy and warm trousers in lovely colors. The fabric is an unlined soft wool, soft enough not to cause itchiness problems but for absolute guaranteed skin bliss I do tuck a mid-hip length silk camisole inside the waistband. These cozy trousers are a wonderful addition to my winter wardrobe and I particularly like the pale colors which lighten the dark days of fall and winter.

Best wool pants!
It is cold enough here to wear wool so a unpacked these wool flannel pants and haven’t taken them off yet. Simple flattering design with pockets! The wool is not itchy. I got the charcoal and plan to get the black when it is back in stock in petite. Ordered my usual PS and they fit well.

Very Disappointed
So disappointed! Who wouldn't want a pair of soft wool flannel classic pants? I would of course so snapped them up as soon as I saw them. The material was lovely and they are true to size. But the fit was just terrible on me. Way too much fabric, made me look twice my size and no woman wants that. They are said to have a slouchy fit and while I have several pairs of EF slouchy pants, this material just looked huge on me. Returned pronto!
