Perfect for me!
This is a wonderful, lightweight grey pant...very soft...tailored with pleating at the waist. There are pockets without the extra fullness.
I ordered PM ...perfect fit for 5'4". When I put these on it was as if they had been custom designed just for me--that rarely happens in today's market; however EF more often than not provides just that.

Poor Quality Dissappointment
I had these pants for 3 months and got holes in the thigh area. Considering the price, this was not ok. I wanted a return or replacement for the pants but got store credit for the amount I paid instead. The thing is, I'm a student and cannot afford EF regular prices. I have eyed these pants for over a year so I could purchase them on sale. But now I have no pants and store credit that can't cover the cost of a new pair of pants. I felt there was a lack of concern from customer service. Considering the ethics and values of EF, I was really disappointed in the quality of the clothes and overall experience.

Great pants
IThe fit is great. I did return an extra small regular. I got a petite extra small. These fit fine.
They do run large.
The material is soft and beautiful. I got them on sale which was terrific.
I am old but still love clothes and am stylish
I am slim and they fit well. I am 5feet. Live in NY. I definitely recommend these pants. Would like them in other colors

Nice pants, but....
The quality of the material is excellent, but the pleats on a curvy, tall woman did not work for me. They looked bulky in the waist/hip area. Might work for someone really straight/thin, but not if you're curvy! Most other EF styles fit me much better.

Not heavy flannel
I am delighted with these lighter weight flannel pants. I wore them yesterday with a T-neck and cardigan and felt “dressed”. Great with a blazer! I got the “moon” color.

Itchy
I liked the fit of these pants. But the fabric felt itchy. I couldn't see myself wearing them for long, so back they went. Btw, outlet stores don't accept returns. I drove an hour to be turned away at the outlet store. Makes no sense.

Wrong sizing and wrong information from Chat
These pants just arrived in charcoal, extra small, my usual size. The waist measures 29 inches unstretched, and they so big there is not the cute swinging shape seen on the models. Since I recently purchased the extra small hemp pant which was even larger and had to be sent back, I contacted the chat service and asked the actual waist measurement of the flannel pant. I was told 26 inches so ordered my usual xs. Now they also have to be sent back, and of course the xxs is now out of stock. What is going on with EF????? Fabric and color are lovely, but very disappointed in the poor service and sizing.

They are the most comfortable pants to wear .
They fit the body nice. They do not look bulky on you , actually gives your body a very nice shape. The fabric is soft and does not itch your skin . The color gray looks great with many colored.I would buy them again I live in New York where the weather can be cool and damp. I have to say they keep me warm. Love them.

Please don’t stop making these pants!
These pants are more than I expected. I have them in two colors and may need to have the other two. I really like the classic lines, and the fabric is so soft and not itchy at all. I am 5’ 9”, slim and weigh 155, and the size small is perfect. The charcoal is so classic with a crisp white cotton shirt.

Great classic pants with a retro vibe
The wool is super soft and drapes well. The pleated style is reminiscent of classic, full Katherine Hepburn style trousers. My usual size medium (size 10, 5’6” with slimmer waist, heavier hips and thighs) is very generous and maybe makes my hips look bigger. But with a slimmer, close fitting top or a blousy silk shirt tucked in, I like the retro look. I ordered another color.

Not for tall people
These pants are of beautiful quality and color, and I so wanted them to work! But I am 5’10”, 145 lbs, and the xs was way too short in the rise - they pulled weirdly in the crotch area when I walked. Tried a size small and I was swimming in them. Eileen Fisher, please make pants in tall sizes!

Lovely fabric, comfy pant but cut very generously
These pants are incredibly comfortable-love the soft flannel fabric!- but they’re also incredibly baggy (or shall we, say full cut through the leg…). I usually favor slim leg pants, like the stretch crepe EF ankle pant, but decided to give these a try. I bought the same PM size that I take in the crepe, but probably should have tried a PS in this style to see if a smaller size would have fit more closely. Too bad I cut off the tags and wore them before reaching this conclusion! At least I got them on sale.

Gorgeous pants, but....
I purchased these in charcoal, in a medium. I had high hopes for these pants. They arrived quickly, and the material is so soft. I love pleated tapered pants, especially with an elastic waist. I thought these looked somewhat similar to the Andy pant by Elizabeth Suzann. Unfortunately these were just a tad small for me. They were too tight in my thigh. I ended up going to a store to try the larges on, and those were way too big. If the mediums had just an extra half in of fabric in the thigh area, they would be perfect. Other than that, the pants are made so well, and this style is very flattering to many. So chic and classic! I love clothing for women that have a touch of men's wear inspiration in them. For me, the EF lantern pant seems to be a very flattering shape, so I will stick with that design for now.

Love these EF pants
these were so soft and comfortable on. They have a lovely drape to them and easily dressy without all the fuss of getting dressed up …whether I slip on a pair of evening loafers or a sleek boot to wear during the day! I’m hourglass shaped and these pants are most complimentary for my larger shape (12-14)

These are Very Full in Hips and Waist
Fabric is soft and comfortable. I normally wear a size small or 8 in EF clothes. These are size small but seem huge on me. They are currently in the package in my closet, and I may send them back. I think they might fit a person with a larger hips and waist. I'll try them one more time. I think suggesting a size down might have helped. But I realize the size down might be too short for me. I'm surprised because EF clothes are usually a perfect fit for me.

Great, except...
I bought a size small (I am 5'3", 134 lbs) and the fit is perfect. The comfort is exceptional for us post-menopausal tree-trunk-waisted women! The only caution is if you have thighs that touch, the flannel pills there even on the first wear. I'm not pleased with that, considering the price point.
