I should have paid more attention to the other reviews. I ordered the size I usually order in Eileen Fisher pants, and I could not get them zipped! Order a size up!

Perfect fit and gorgeous color
These pants fit like they were tailored for me. And the wool is soft but substantial. No itchiness. I got the red and they are so fun. Will brighten up the dreary months!

The Perfect Winter Pants
The lovely fabric makes these pants so very cozy. I bought them in charcoal grey and do hope EF brings them back in black. The side zipper means a nice flat front and a welcome alternative to the bulky, puckered waist and rear that an elastic waist band causes, especially in wool and heavy linens.

Nonfunctional zipper, size unusually small
I am an avid EF fan and buy here regularly. Never had a problem with any item until now. Beautiful fabric and style, I bought these pants in August for the winter and tried them on with the first snow here in Virginia. What a mistake! My usual size in these run so small, I could not zipper up, and there is something wrong with the zipper. I tried it on pants lying flat — it was stuck each time. I have never worn these pants, tags are intact, but being bought in August I cannot return them. It is wasted money for me, unfortunately. Disappointed.

Great pants, bad zipper
The pants are actually wonderful - great fabric, good weight, feel very well made. Clearly can dress up and down. I wore them in the Arizona desert as well as in a meeting in NYC. M y activities were merely brisk walking. A few time I crouched down to look at some cacti. I had bought a size PL, so the waist and hips were actually pretty loose. To my surprise, after wearing them for a only a week, the side zipper simply split open and can’t be fixed at home.

Lantern Pant in Wool
I love the Lantern Pant style but it didn’t work in wool. The fabric was too stiff and didn’t drape like the organic cotton I love. I am returning it.

Grey Flannel Bargain
I was so excited to find the lantern pant style on sale in Grey Flannel that I took a chance and bought them even though what available was a size too large and had them altered. Worth it! This variation is not pull on...beautifully tailored with a side zipper. and the grey flannel fabric is stunning.
