Versatile three-season cardigan
I really like all of the 80% silk-20% cotton blends from EF. The fabric is just the right weight. This particular piece really goes with everything--from jeans to wool pants to silk skirts. It's a hit.

Love this material !
This fabric is very similar to the washable wool crepe, but does not attract moths ! Classic wardrobe staple for me. Thanks for having such great fabrics and designs

For many years, I looked for a plain black cardigan that was more like a coat or loose unstructured jacket. I found it!
However, at first, I wasn't sure that this was the cardigan I was looking for because I could not see the texture of the fabric in the online photos. I ordered it anyway. I was happy to find that the fabric has some weight and texture, and the fabric is not smooth or shiny. The knit fabric has a subtle texture, and the edge details are refined and simple. I usually order size Women's L in Eileen Fisher, but I wasn't sure what size to order, and because I like loose cardigans and jackets, I ordered an XL. The larger size is a bit large on me. This cardigan is sized generously. Size L would have been fine, but I'm happy with the XL because it wraps comfortably around me and can be easily worn over sweaters and shirts. This cardigan can be dressed up or down -- it will be perfect with jeans or with silk pants, and I like that aspect of its character. I have included photos that show details and fabric texture.

Beautiful timeless black cardigan
Gorgeous, classic, heavier weight black cardigan. I have read other reviews noting this cardigan was heavier than they anticipated. That is exactly what I was looking for. Something to throw on for cool summer evenings or crisp fall days. I am always on the look out for something to wear instead of always having to through on a jacket. The hand and body of this knit is lovely and it is a true deep black. Pockets for me are perfect at fingertip length.

Love it but...
I bought this when it came out and love it! Just heavy enough fir cooler weather yet, light enough for a summer breeze. Smart and dressy looking. The BUT I really have a hard time when I buy something at full price, especially at the $400 price point and then just a few months later is goes to half price! Very frustrating and disappointing!

Very nice
this is a beautifully tailored jacket. It runs a bit large. Usually I take a large but in this jacket, the medium was perfect. My only complaint is that it is heavy in weight. I was thinking it would be more of a transitional piece between winter and spring but it is more like a winter jacket.
