Unbecoming
I love the fabric, ash color, and feel of this sweater, and wanted to love it. Unfortunately, the style is SO boxy it's just extremely unbecoming -- truly like wearing a sack. Back it goes.

No more boxy tops for me.
This may the last time I buy a "boxy" fit garment from Eileen Fisher (or anywhere). In my opinion, the boxy fit only suits taller, slim women with a small bust. Although I bought the same size as the model, it looks much slimmer on her than it does on me. The idea seems to be that the garment "drapes away from the body to create movement". However, most of the time I'm not moving, I'm sitting. I've posted reviews about this before, and I see other customers saying the same thing, but nothing seems to change. I question whether Eileen Fisher actually cares what customers think. Almost every top is "boxy", or "easy". Cynically, I wonder if it's just easier and cheaper to make clothes that don't have to follow the line of the body at all. I'm sad about this particular top, because I like the color and the fabric.
