Fit is strange
I LOVE this shirt. However I have a larger chest (Mediums in your brand have always been ok for me). On this shirt the medium pulled at the pleating, and it looked really bad. I think a large would have been too big everywhere else. Maybe this designer intentionally doesn't design for women with a larger chest, and that's ok. It is a beautiful shirt.

Great material & color
After receiving so many tunics and tops with either too widely cut arms or too narrow neck lines, I have given up in Eileen-Fisher style for a while now. But I always find the quality of the material just so irresistible. As it happened with this purchase, too, the weight of the fabric was just right to drape over the body. I wouldn't order it though if the same fabric came in one of those short, so-called "boxy" style. Let's hope the style would catch up with the excellent fabric choices one of these days, as it was used to be.

Color and waist size
I returned this top but kept the pants. The color is a dirty white or light grey. The pants were fine although the wait is very big. I ordered a M (my normal) and during my first wearing I realized the waist was unusually large. I should have returned them too
