Versatile and a little edgy
EF silk georgette is one of my favorite Eileen fabrics, so I had to try these. They are fuller in the legs, but have a nice drape and the lantern shape adds to their look. I took my usual size and do like the fuller drape. They can be dressed up or down so they are versatile and unique from all the other pairs I have. Got them on sale so they ended up more affordable.

good for travelling, S fits petite
I'm 5'3", 135lbs and am short-legged (28") and short-waisted which translates into a thick waist (33-34"). Usually I need pants to be petite to be the right length for me, and I need waists that are expandable. I bought size S and they fit perfectly. I like pants to reach over my ankle so took a chance on these to be long enough and they are. The material is very good for travel because it washes and dries easily; the pants have pockets which are always useful to have, the waistline is not rigid so not uncomfortable for sitting for long periods of time. I'm glad I took the chance on these, but I wouldn't normally have done so if it were difficult to return or exchange items, so I'm thankful for Eileen Fisher's return policy. I took a star off the 5 I would have given for these if I had known from the description that these pants might also fit a person who usually shops for Petite, but perhaps typical clothes buyers are aware that these 'ankle' pants double as 'normal' for petite leg sizes.

Simply Gorgeous
I just bought these and I really adore them, although the sizing is very large, especially in the waist. I have a 31" waist and 36.5" hips and bought a size small and the waist is very loose. The fit elsewhere is fine as the lovely light material drapes in a really nice manner. The full leg and tapered ankle are so flattering. Good length down to my ankles and I'm 5'7" with longish legs. I might have to get the waist taken in, but otherwise I highly recommend these.

Petite Medium EF to the rescue again.
5'2" - 140. small waist, ample butt and thighs. EF pants PM fit me every time and as someone who struggles with fit, it's a lifesaver to know I can depend on this company and this size to work every time. I sometimes have to alter the waist slightly but the rest will fit perfectly. These pants are elegant and slimming. Thank you EF.

Beautifully crafted way too voluminous
The pants are absolutely beautiful, however, they are way too voluminous. I’m petite and I looked like a circus clown. I noticed a lot of the new designs are bigger than they used to be. I returned it.
