Love the pink
I was skeptical about the bright pink color, but once I put it on it is a welcome change to my otherwise mostly black wardrobe. It is fresh and I love it. I own several silk georgette crepe blouses. They drape nicely and are easy to maintain.

Lapis Color Silk Blouse
I purchased this blouse in a few colors over the past few months when it was on sale. The Lapis color is beautiful and is one of my favorite jewel tone colors. I bought size PM. Fits me in the shoulders and under the arms. Body is plenty roomy. I’m 5’ tall, size 8-10P in the shoulders.
Waiting for the right occasion to wear a silk blouse. I purchased a linen blouse in PM but returned because the underarms were too tight.
No so in this silk blouse.

Classic piece for my wardrobe
I purchased this piece in the scarlet, calliope and in the violette colours, such beautiful shades. The silk is soft and comfortable. I machine wash it on the delicate cycle and it drip dries quickly. I touch it up with the steamer to remove any wrinkles. I find this shirt to be a classic piece in my wardrobe and wear it to go out for dinner or to visit friends, pairing it with black pants or with jeans. I wear it year round. I bought the size small which is my usual Eileen Fisher size. I love the easy fit, basic length which fits loosely on my 5'3" frame. I have my eye on the bellflower and bluette shades that look beautiful.

Silk georgette blouse
I bought this silk georgette blouse in frost, size PP. While the sleeves are too long for me, they look nice pushed up or with the cuff folded over. The silk georgette fabric is fabulous with a grainy look that makes it look a little more casual than regular silk. The frost color is unique but easy to blend or contrast with other colors. I will wear the blouse to a graduation exercise this summer and the weight of the blouse will be fine for warm weather. I understand that silk georgette is a lighter weight than some other silks. I’m planning to wear a black silk boxy jacket by EF over the blouse if needed.

These are my favorite shirts but....
I have bought a half dozen of these shirts in various colors over the past couple of years so, needless to say, I love them. Recently decided that I needed a second one in black and ordered it. The silk is noticeably thinner and of lesser quality than all of the others. So disappointing!!! I stopped by my local EF wearing one of the older ones and the salespeople all agreed the one from last year has a much better feel and weight than the current stock.
Eileen Fisher, please don't skimp on quality. Your loyal customers deserve better. Would rather spend a little more to have continue a quality product.
