Its nice, but too short
Its nice but not stunning. A little short so some other piece is needed to complete its look - a jacket or sweater etc, if it was 8 inches longer it could be a flowing top. So no complaints about material or workmanship or basic style, but why is it so short?

The evrything piece
such a perfect basis. You can add gold, silver, or playful choker. You can add a scarf, shawl, or longer chain of whatever. Most of all you can wear nothing with it, but black pants and you will look thinner and a bit taller and very elegant.

Simple blouse with lots of style!
Simple yet elegant blouse. Won’t require ironing! Has a certain weight to it which reads more expensive than a simple polished cotton. Also makes it a year round piece.

Much too overwhelming for a petite person.
The material is beautiful and I am sure this would be a functional top for someone. But if you are petite like me, it is way too much material and way too dark. It looks very frumpy. But on a tall person it would probably be very beautiful.

One of my favorite all year round tops
This is by far one of my favorite EF tops.
One is able to wear it all year long to any occasion. I bought the ebony colored shirt. I also bought the Ebony parachute scarf to go with it and they look great together.
I have the same shirt in fir color from this past winter season. These tops are amazing. They feel wonderful against the skin.

My New Favorite
Over the last few months, I bought several colors of this EF silk georgette style, as I found it flows over my body smoothly without showing lumps and bumps. The simple lines and gracious length make it possible to wear this piece to a nice luncheon or a more casual event. The fabric steams wrinkles out effortlessly, which makes my life easier. I wash it on "hand wash" setting and hang it on a hanger to dry. My new favorite! Thank you, EF.

Eileen Fisher works for Women
I love this shirt and have it in several colors. They are perfect when traveling - with pants, skirts, a jacket over slip dresses. If it were in my power my entire wardrobe would be EF. I love the simple lines, fabrics and versatility.

Exquisite blouse, magnificent quality
Eileen Fisher is best known for wonderful ensembles that are sophisticated and comfortable, but I bought this blouse as a separate, because no one does silk like Eileen Fisher. I've worn this exquisite blouse with simple black slacks, for an understated but chic daytime look, and with a simple change of jewelry, taken it day In to night. The quality of this medium weight, rich-feeling silk is evident from across the room. If this blouse came in two more colors, I would buy it in two more colors. It's absolutely timeless, and became one of my favorite go-to pieces immediately.

Review for Silk Georgette Crepe Band Collar Shirt
I purchased this in Grove - a greenish grey color. I am very pleased with it - Grove, to me, is a relaxing color. I wear it with black or other like color pieces - skirts, pants. It has slits that come up to hip level - 7-inch side slits, back yoke with center back pleat, which make it also fit with ease. I wear a size Small in Eileen Fisher, however I size up to Medium sometimes if the item is slim-fitted - according to what I want to wear it for. In this garment, I take a size Small. It is currently out in Ebony- another nice grey color and Powder, a soft, light peachy or very light clay color.

Beautiful shirt
I chose the "Silk Georgette Crepe Band Collar Shirt" in the color "Berry Bloom."
Viewed on my laptop display, the "Berry Bloom" color appeared to be very bright. I wasn't sure how a color that bright would look on me (I thought it might be much too bright). But, I ordered it anyway.
The color of the shirt I received is beautiful and unlike the color I saw on my computer. The color is muted and refined, and closer to a soft rich magenta than bright purple.
My measurements on the Eileen Fisher size chart suggest a size L, but I ordered the shirt in size XL because I like shirts with a looser fit and more generous drape, and the loose fit is very nice. The sleeves are long, with the cuffs falling gracefully over my wrists. The shirt has a yoke across the back of the shoulders with a box pleat, and this is fabulous! I always look for shirts with a yoke and pleat because they fit better and provide a more graceful drape over my hips.
I also like the longer length of this shirt, the tiny shell buttons, and the band collar, and the delicious silk fabric...
I like band collars because they can be more easily worn under jackets of various kinds. I think this shirt could also be worn over a linen tank top, or a long silk sleeveless top.
The color will look great with black!
For size reference: 5'6", 38DD, hips about 43 inches.
