Fabulous shape but why have EF dropped Midnight?!
Great shape & fabric as always but for absolute clarity, if you have built up, over many years as I have, an entire EF capsule wardrobe based around Midnight, Nocturne is not Midnight. Have rated value as low because sadly I won't be wearing it.

Perfect neck perfect length
Purchased Ocean color in my usual EF Med + liked the fit so much I bought 3 more colors. Classic cut, nice necklace neckline, + just long enough, but not so long to feel frumpy. Love EF’s georgette, just wash gently and hang to dry.

Bust size needs adjusting
This is a beautiful piece and a much needed item in the collection. Despite trying two different sizes, I was unable to get the blouse down over my mature breasts. Our generation is not flat chested.

Beautiful and flexible
This is a beautiful silk tunic in a softly crinkly texture, which comes in black, but also lovely deep, yet glowing, colors that match well with other EF clothing, for example, the green ("Woodland") with the fluffy Woodland bouclé scarf (alpaca-wool). The blue-green ("Adriatic") goes beautifully with the Handwoven Organic Cotton Scarf in "Eucalyptus." So different combinations can be worn in different seasons. This tunic is also unusually flexible. It can be worn sleeveless or under a sweater or -- because the shoulder seams come out almost to the tops of the shoulders - it can be worn as a jumper over skinny long-sleeved (ballet-necked) tops. As a longtime EF fan I've still got some beautiful EF silk tops in that style (in black & a soft bluey-grey). The combination creates long-sleeved tunics in colors + black that look really nice and can be worn in many ways. I also like the curved ballet neck much better than the bateau - more flattering.

A system staple of Eileen Fisher - provides coverage when wearing with leggings or slim pants and is business appropriate. Skims well under jackets and is also used as an underpinning. I love the color deep Adriatic and will get use out of this.

Missing bust dart
Unfortunately this is missing the bust dart that EF has used in the past, which makes this not fit around the armholes anymore. Very disappointing that I will have to tailor this one. I won’t be buying any more.

Adriatic outfit
I have worn Eileen Fisher’ clothes for year's. I have the essentials and feel well dressed and comfortable in her clothes. Yes, I pay more for hers than some of my other clothes, but I know she is mindful of her products and puts a lot of research and time into what she produces with sustainability in mind and creates responsibly,. I bought the Adriatic pant, silk shell,, Jersey turtleneck and boiled wool coat for fall. I can wear these interchanging with my black and navy pieces in so many ways. These pieces are all so comfortable and look fresh all day long. I can't wait to top the outfits off with my favorite jewelry or scarfs.
