Versatile and timeless
Perfect tunic shirt. A-line has nice flow, not too wide and fitted at the shoulders. Usually wear a 10 and got the small based on reviews. While still a little oversized, it hangs well so flattering with leggings or slim pants or pencil skirt. Great over tank dress. Stripe more graphite than black.

I had my eye on this shirt for a long time and was very pleased to find it on sale. I was unsure what size to order. Typically, I wear a size XL in Eileen Fisher's button front shirts because I need more room to accommodate my size 38DD chest (in other EF tops and sweaters, I usually wear a size L). But, selecting a shirt size also depends a lot on the shirt design, and button front shirts with a back yoke generally fit me better, especially if there is a pleat in the yoke, which provides more room around the upper back. This shirt has a back yoke, but no pleat, so I thought about ordering a size XL, but since the shirt is described as being oversized, I thought a size L would be large enough. It was a difficult decision, and I ordered size L instead of my usual XL for button front shirts. Fortunately, the size L fits me well enough. It is not too large in the front, the sleeves are exactly the right length for my long arms, and the fabric hangs gracefully. However, the back of the shirt could use just a bit more fabric and would probably have been a better fit with a pleat under the yoke. The lower back of the shirt just grazes across my hips (43 1/2") without getting caught. The size XL might have been too large overall.
This shirt is long but not too long. I am 5'6" and the size L hangs well below my buttocks, but is still very shirt-like and not long enough to be worn as a dress.
The fabric is so luxurious and smooth and feels very nice against the skin, even on a warm day. The silk is just slightly transparent, and dark underwear will be slightly visible underneath. I love the thin double stripes, which give the shirt a serious thoughtful quality, as though the shirt would like to read a long report and write a rebuttal, but the shirt could also be dressed down and combined with more casual clothes, such as black jeans and a long duster or jacket and boots or sandals (the shirt might accept something very colorful and playful for contrast). I might also wear this shirt with an EF loose black silk jacket and slouchy pants. Anyway, I really like this shirt, and I love its oversize fit, which is graceful and not sloppy or boxy. I have included photos that show some of the shirt's details (the photos show the shirt as it looked when it arrived and had not yet been laundered). I'm very happy that the shirt can be hand washed.

Love love love
Love this shirt, it so beautiful. I love the length especially in the back. Very versatile and chic can be dressed up or down. I wore it out with black leggings plus a mask and felt very comfortable and looked great.
Also I sew and so am critical of things that aren't sewn quite right. Not this shirt it has beautiful construction.

Affordable decadence
It feels like an all-day massage. And better yet, it drapes really nicely. It is going to be one of those forever pieces, I can tell already. It was pretty much love at first sight when I saw it online and things only got better when it arrived. It's like a calorie-free elixir made up of my favorite flavors! It's just that good. I cannot wait to wear it---over black leggings, a black pencil skirt and tights, over black walking shorts, or perhaps khaki linen walking shorts....so many possibilities!

Love the beautiful fabric and drape which is very slimming. The length is perfect. Not too long or too short. The shirt can be worn with narrow and wide leg slacks. This fabric will also make the perfect layering piece under black sweaters and jackets without adding a lot of extra bulk. Perfect!

style issue
I like the fabric, nice and soft. Giving 3 stars is because the front has lots of fabric which is fine but, don't really like the design of tilled side seams swing toward front, which makes the back too close to the body and looks a little too fit. Sleeves and armholes areas are too large. If I order one size smaller then the back will be too small. Keeping it because the sale price is good. I will wear it with a tank top under and without buttoning up the front for casual look.

not for me
I really wanted to love this shirt but it was too big everywhere and I felt swamped. Would be nice in larger stripes, I think. I returned the shirt and it is taking forever for the refund to arrive. What is going on with your return process? It used to be so reliable.
