Perfect for evenings all year long

Love design but string broke after 3 weeks of use
I love these sheer ponchos. I recently purchased one in the color ocean, but unfortunately the string on the sleeve broke after 3 weeks. I wore it just 2 times so I'm a little disappointed in the quality.

Not impressed
Eileen Fisher has a way of making clothes seem brighter than the you receive it. This is not the first time i bought an item that doesn’t look like the color that is being advertised. I bought this poncho in yellow it was a different yellow. I am not sure if its the lighting they use, but it certainly doesn’t look as pretty. It’s dull. Not impressed.

Mother of the groom dress.
I plan to wear the dress and matching silk shawl for my son’s wedding in the spring. It is a perfect weight for warm afternoons. I needed an elegant fitting, comfortable dress, without frills. I can wear this dress for many other occasions with different toppers, different jewelry. It is worth the price for a dress I can wear for many years. I ordered two sizes to make sure it fit well. I chose the smaller dress size since the fabric is forgiving. I chose the larger shawl as it drapes a bit longer over the dress.

Perfect top layer!
This poncho is light and airey and will be perfect for the top layer over the shibori dress.
I mixed up colors and am happy I wasn’t tempted to color code it all. Hey, if it gets hot I can take a layer off or bring in a scarf. I have an eye on the silk scarf in similar colors!

Loved everything but the color
I loved the style and the fit was flattering. However, the problem was the color. First I bought in steel (last season's color) which I just couldn't warm up to and returned. However hope springs eternal and I felt I just needed a brighter, lighter color, so I bought the Amalfi. Try as I could, I didn't like the color on me either; it was just too subdued, so sadly I returned returned this color too. I am still giving it a good four star rating because it is a very cute style and if they do other colors next year in this style I may try again or just buy yet another black top. I am usually a petite/petite (5'1, 103 pls) but the xxs/xs fit was fine.

Silk Poncho
Easy to wear. Elegant! Summery! It is great either same color dress or a coordinated one.
I wore it with a dress in Current color, similar shades for Mother’s Day. I received compliments. It’s a creative idea to cover bare arms when wearing it with a sleeveless dress.

Perfect topper for a special outing
I purchased this to go with the tiered silk crinkle dress for an outside wedding of cocktail attire, and am very happy I did. I love the dress, but due to the fact that I am very large breasted, wearing the dress alone showed my bra. The poncho is translucent enough to give extra coverage without adding bulk . It also provides some textural interest. I tried this combination in almost all of the colors, and decided that the darker colors were best at not drawing attention to my bust or adding bulk. I believe it could also be used with other EF pieces quite well.

Gorgeous saturated deep teal silk, semi sheer but not hot. The sil is good quality, drapes beautifully & is great with the sil midi dress (square neck, also in Reef), & will be easy to pair with little tops to cover shoulders when sweater too much. Living in southern CA it’s summer coming & this poncho is an elegant wrap that’s easier than a shawl, wear w dresses or pants or jeans. I’m skinny & it gives me shape in Xs but someone with curves would rock this too. Great wardrobe piece. Good price for quality of fabric + design.

Flattering and Airy
I have the dress and poncho in Ocean, they go beautifully together. The poncho will be nice for going out at night as it dresses up the entire look. I find the poncho to be very flattering and feminine. I can't wear sleeveless clothes without a shirt or some other covering so the poncho is a beautiful accessory, not just to the tierd silk dress but to several other EF pieces I have that are sleeveless.

Good as cover over sleeveless dressy tops or dress
Purchased this poncho to cover my shoulders over a sleeveless pleated top. The top has a lot going on so this smooth fabric is simple with the activity of the top. I'm not too pleased with the ties on either side but hopefully they will not show much when I wear it. Have not worn yet.
