Wonderful coat
I have this in two colors, Ivy from last year, and Nocturne, both are beautiful colors. The simple design makes it versatile to dress either up or down. It is lightweight yet warm, soft with a beautiful drape. If you have two sizes you wear in EF go with the smaller.

Elegant and Cozy
I first noticed the Claret version in the fall, in the shop window on Madison @53rd and immediately coveted it, knowing it was beyond my budget. (Agree with another reviewer who praised the staff there; they are wonderful.) Patience paid off. Was able to get it in my size, in Nocturne, on sale, and just in time for the cold snap here.

Just a nice, warm coat that hangs well and looks great like all Eileen Fisher products. It’s a beautiful fabric and drape, more like a light burgundy than a pink.

Luscious warm red coat
I didn’t think I needed a new coat, but so happy I bought this. Love the standup collar, pockets and snap buttons. It has a nice lining and is warm. It’s great to throw on over sweats or for a night out.

Disappointed
So disappointed! I have two of your alpaca coats from several years ago. They are soft, warm and beautifully made. This one was thin and very unflattering. The fabric and design were not the quality I was expecting.

Disappointed not in Canadian stores
I ordered this coat in the claret colour in medium. It was lovely but too large and the small was no longer available by the time I received the medium. The cross border shipping was efficient and smooth and the help with it friendly but now (to be fair, as the terms advised) I’ve paid the return shipping cost but have no coat. I hope EF will offer this coat again in claret.

Gorgeous Nocture Alpaca Coat
The ONLY thing better than this coat is the wonderful crew at the EF store at 501 Madison Ave! I bought the coat in Nocture; the Deep Claret is also gorgeous but I love the Noctune. I cannot say enough about it. I took the small, that seems to be my main size now in Eileen Fisher, but occasionally I take a medium and sometimes an extra small. So this coat is pretty close to the size one usually wears in Eileen Fisher. The color is sumptuous, the fabric lovely and I like snaps instead of buttons, which this coat has. I also love the stand collar. It is a classic lovely coat. Thank you EF!

Perfect jacket for me
Never have I had more compliments on a clothing item. I've worn it all through the holidays on both casual and dressy days. It's a unique raspberry red that flatters my fair skin. Even though it's expensive, it's a good value for me because I'm wearing it frequently.
