Beautiful color, looks like fleece blanket
Unfortunately, this one didn’t work out. The fabric drape was a bit awkward by the bottom snap bullet. It might have been one size too small. The fabric was too fleece like for me and for the price. I loved the color and the warmth and the lining.

Sheared Suri Alpaca Stand Collar Coat Sweet Plum
Beautiful coat. I first tried this on in the store months ago and I loved it. I bought it in a Small, and this color is one of my favorites. I am longing for cool weather again so I can wear it. I do own another Sheared Suri Alpaca Coat in a classic collar, in Nocturne. I do like that one, as well. I did purchase this on sale.

Beautiful Coat
It was just a type of coat I was looking for. Soft and cozy. Easy to throw on. The fit was perfect. The only thing that I wish was the green looked more dark in person. Almost black.

This is a beautiful coat! Very luxurious. Warm but not bulky. Gorgeous color. I am extremely happy with this purchase. The color Ivy is hard to describe and I love it! I had to go down two sizes though and still can wear layers underneath and it has a lovely drape still. Why are some items made so large? I don’t understand that at all.

Great color, look, and feel
Love it! Lightweight yet warm. Attractive cut. I've already received several compliments from strangers. True to size. I'm 5' 3", medium build, and the Medium works fine. Full price seems too steep, but I caught a nice sale.

Sheared Suri Alpaca Stand Collar Coat
The coat is a beautiful rich reddish purple color and the sheared alpaca fabric is thick and soft and elegant. I usually wear an XS size in EF clothes, but had to size down to an XXS to keep the coat from looking boxy and shapeless. Even in the smaller size, the sleeves are still several inches too long and I am paying additional money to have the sleeves shortened to the right length. I have the turtleneck sweater in the matching color and look forward to wearing this duo for many years to come.

I stumbled across this coat in a department store by chance. When my hand fell on the shoulder, and I Felt the heavenly fabric And saw the timeless styling, I knew I had to have it. This coat is statement, Eileen Fisher – classic lines, good fit. The sheared alpaca is pure luxury.

My new favorite coat. Dress it up for the theater or wear it with jeans and it’s perfect. Not too heavy, but no light weight either. I do suggest sizing down unless you wear multiple layers.

I sized down, thanks to the reviews. I tried the petite because the sleeves were long on me, but the PP was identical to the XXS: I even measured the sleeve length to verify. So if you are looking for one size and the other is in stock: doesn't matter. The ivy is almost a green-black, with a beautiful depth; the material has more wool than alpaca but is soft and warm. As comfy as a bathrobe but makes me feel well dressed. Exactly why I like Eileen Fisher. I

Love, love this coat
I love, love this coat. The color is gorgeous!!! Unlike other people's reviews, I have no problem with the snaps. Bottom line as with all my Eileen Fisher clothes I just feel good wearing them. The quality and workmanship is evident.
The sales people at the store are always wonderful.
