Black Skirt
I like this skirt, love the pockets but even though is a size M it looks like an L. It is bigger on my waist but it's ok because it is on my hips which is what matters to me.

Good basic
Bought this in black and it is darling. Purchased a PS and was concerned it might be too tight in the waist but it fit perfectly. I am 5'4" 130 lbs if that helps.

It has pockets!
I was super-excited to see a skirt with pockets -- even better that it was on sale. When it arrived and I tried it on I was initially very disappointed: While the skirt was the perfect size in the hips, it was far too large in the waist. I had to excise roughly 4" of elastic in order to make it fit. Fortunately, Eileen Fisher clothing is very well constructed using techniques that stand up to alterations. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of this skirt. For someone with a thick waist, this skirt should fit off the rack. However, if your waist is more defined, you may have trouble with the fit.

Nice skirt but runs large
Beautiful skirt, comfortable but runs large. Also, the finish is more matte than satin as in the pictures.

Not my favorite Eileen Fisher garment....
Not loving the fabric. It’s a thinner form of tencel. Needs to be ironed unlike other tencel items I own.
The style is nice but not the fabric.

A line skirt
I really thought about this buy as I was not sure this cut would flatter me but it does. Moves nicely and the pockets are a plus it can be dressed up or down. Love it such a great basic and got it on sale!

Beautiful fit and length.
Loved the fit and length, the salmon color on me was not a good look. Perhaps if I was 20 years younger as my daughter tried it on and color looked beautiful on her, thankfully too big for her to wear. Ended up returning and buying the black one which was PERFECT!

Nice spring and summer skirt
Love the look and feel of this skirt. I don't like maxi so this length is good for me. I usually go for a narrower skirt so this is an out of box purchase for me. For me not my personal best look, but it is easy and cool for summer. The skirt is not see through. My regular size L was a perfect fit for me. I do have a thicker waist.

Fabric and length
I do not care for the fabric this skirt is made from. It feels cheap and generic and does not have that sheen that you see in the photos. I was also surprised at the length of the Petite Medium, which is the size I purchased. I am only 5'2" and the back part of the skirt went to my ankles. I do like the A-Line shape because it complements many figures. This one, however, was disappointing.

The fit and the Fabric
I always buy Eileen Fisher skirts. This one I sent it back. The color was very pretty. The fabric was very thin and it was very small. the 3X is more like a 1X. I would have kept it if it had fit. Because of the sale price

Tencel skirt
Love the skirt! I purchased the powder pink. So pretty and feminine. At first I was worried that it would be too sheer with the light color. To my surprise it wasn’t at all, no need for a slip, and the pockets are great. Just perfect for the summer.

Nice semi dressy skirt
The color is a bit odd, but the skirt itself is perfect for what I was looking for. Will pair it with some colorful contrasting tops which should make the skirt look great. Bought for a trip but who knows when that’s going to happen. Nice fabric.

Lovely fabric!
