Lovely Jacket; Fit Was Off
I loved the idea of this jacket in the gold color to go with the matching dress. Unfortunately it was just too large in my normal Eileen Fisher size XS and the XXS was out of stock. If it fit my shoulders better and the arms were narrower it would have been a perfect topper for many occasions and outfits.

I found this jacket in 'black' at the EF store in Winter Park, FL - put it on and never took it off! Soft and luxurious, setting off broad shoulders it created a slim pencil-skirt look over the belted T-shirt dress in graphite (EF); ankle boots and a black hat had heads turning. Subsequently, I sprung for the goldenrod. Having eyed this color with caution - even as an autumn-toned person - thinking it would be too bright. It is a rich 18k gold that I can't get enough of! A small hand steamer soon had the package wrinkles out. This jacket is stunning and incredibly comfortable.

Outer fabric larger than lining
If you are a fan of tailoring, this may not work for you. I was thinking the one I have may be a one-off error but after looking at the photos, the outer layer is very separate from the lining so the pocket is sewn to the very drapery cupro only. It seems like the weight of the pocket makes the outer layer droopy - as if there is more give in the cupro than in the silk lining. I love everything about this retro 80s jacket and matching dress except this. If you are flexible with this, the jacket is beautiful.
