Beautiful sweater, but a little too short and boxy for me. I'm 5'7", ordered a S but didn't like the fit.

Great sweater, bad perfume!
I just received this sweater, last 1X size left, & it fits & looks great! Unfortunately there is a perfume smell left on it from an earlier customer. I can either return it or try washing it to remove the smell which may not work. Not the greatest choice. How does Eileen Fisher handle returned garments which have picked up perfume from a customer? Do they clean them first before restocking? (If so, it wasn’t done for this sweater.)

Beautiful sweater
I knew this was an investment piece that would provide many years of wear. I love this sweater for it's warm and versatility. I've worn with pants and my silk skirt and it looks great.

A workhorse in your wardrobe
This is the sweater I wear with everything. The material is soft and forgiving. No visible pilling even though I wear it a few times a week. I wish it was a tad longer, but given the quality and versatility of this piece, I don't mind too much.

Yes it's worth it!
I did not want to like this sweater since it was definitely a splurge. I was able to purchase an XL first since that and the XXS were the only sizes available. Then kept checking because I really felt the L would be better. They both fit very similar with the XL giving me the length and drape that was most flattering. The fabric is wonderful against your skin and the turtleneck truely comfortable. I absolutely love this sweater and am encouraged that I can find my go to pieces with EF sgain. It's been a long time since I was excited by any purchase. The large was sent back so another lucky shopper can be delighted too.

No sweater!
The request to write a review for this sweater has arrived before the sweater has even left EF's warehouse! I ordered this sweater 2 weeks ago and have been told that due to a major problem with their computer system my order is stuck until they solve their problem. It surprises me greatly that EF sends me daily emails highlighting new arrivals, etc., encouraging me to buy while being unable to ship their orders. It surprises me even more that there is no prominent notice on their website warning customers that there's a problem and they don't know when it will be fixed. Something should be done and done soon to alert customers to the shipping problem. If my sweater, and other items, ever arrive, and I'm not compIetely fed up with EF, I may write a review.

I loved this sweater at first sight for the neutral, sophisticated color and the classic style. I was hoping to wait for it to go on sale but I went ahead and bought it when I saw it was selling out. I went down a size because my regular size wasn't available and I thought that going up might be too oversized. The smaller size fits fine over a t-shirt. I think my regular size would have worked as well, since the style is very forgiving. I'm looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear it. I especially like that the turtleneck stands high and close and is totally comfortable in my neck. I love the feel of the fabric. I would get this in other colors if they were available.

Soft, substantial and flattering fit, love it!
Excellent grey-beige tweedy fall color, with enough warm tone to look okay on pale complexion and light blonde hair. Many neutrals in the tan and bone family do not look well on me. Fairly substantially cashmere weight. Turtleneck height just right, not too tight or too high. Often choose Petite Large but Medium proportions were wide enough and the longer length was more flattering than cropped, draping better and closer to body without poking out because of large bustline. Many of the wide cropped EF sweaters stick out like a tent both front and back. Luckily I can just get away with the extra sleeve length. Looks nice with many color pants including the EF washable stretch crêpe in Barley. Glad EF recycles a costly fiber such as cashmere. A keeper!

I love it, wore the sweater for outdoor evening dining in Maine and received many compliments. So soft, light weight and warm. The style is just right for a petite plus gal I prefer the longer length vs 25 inch length. The colors in sweater can be worn with jeans, black, grey or tan pants.

Perfect basik
Just arrive, purchase a size L - looks like on the model (despite that I am 176 -180 lb) - nice and roomy, never skimpy (yak!), suitable style for a variety of sizes and body types and, as always, with down to earth taste and color that works perfectly even for blond at 64 years young... it doesn't wash you out - just add nice shades and little lipstick if you wish...
