See thru fabric
Seems like no one noticed that this black and grey “puckered” fabric is see thru. I have the shorts, which I love but if you stand in the wrong light you can see your panties and thighs pretty well.

Comfortable Fabric, Flattering Leg, but Sized Down
I had been looking at the brown and white check, but based on past experience with linen pants, I knew I should probably size down. Normally a large, but ordered the medium. They fit well and I look forward to wearing them now through the fall, when I can add a sweater. I will pay close attention when I wash and dry to ensure they don't shrink as some reviewers notes.

4 Star Summer Slacks
I love these light weight, cool and slim slacks. I wash and lightly steam the bottom of the legs. Then I’m good for bridge with a white tee. Add a blazer for a night out for dinner and a movie.

Sizing issue
When you’re regular EF sizing is off, where Regular sizes are going to petites, it depletes the already low volume of petite sizing, thus we petites cannot order our “regular EF” size, Please rethink your sizing issues. Too many “regular” sizes and not enough Petite sizing, especially pants.

I received the black/gray version yesterday and yes; they are a full cut making them a nice option for hot weather. When I first tried them on, I was unsure about the cut until I realized that I had just taken off a pair of legging jeans which so many of us have been wearing to the exclusion of a wider leg. With that said, of course these pants are going to look a little strange in comparison. I have the matching tunic shirt and the two pieces together is a very lightweight option for summer days. The length on me (5'4" with long thin legs) is just below the ankle bone. And while the petite probably would have worked had it been available I don't think they would have been as comfortable in a sitting position. The pockets would certainly "smile" and the touch of pleating would pull out of shape. So, if you can get beyond the transition from skinny pants/leggings you will love this fabric.

So unhappy
I bought this last month in the black/white check and have washed it once (on delicate, cold, hung to dry) but it has shrunk. I feel the fabric on many items isn’t the same quality. I am sad because EF has been my go-to for long lasting, classic clothing for years.

Terrible fit, great fabric
I love this fabric, esp in the black and white, which is so chic for summer. However, these are the most unflattering, poorly fitting pants I've tried in a long time. Tight waist, short rise, massive hips and thighs, and a wide leg that looks nothing like the photos. Returned immediately!

Very chic
I liked the fabric of these pants so much, I was willing to make an effort to get the right size. As some have noted, in larger sizes the pants have a very full effect, not slimming at all. I went from my usual large to a petite large: the length was good, and the legs were less full. And I am in no sense a petite.

Another Purchase Cancellation!
Dear EF,
I’m a long-time ef customer, but I’m feeling as if this is a waste of time. Again you cancelled an item I purchased because you sold out after the fact. I’ve had this happen several times now and it’s disappointing and frustrating. Please fix your fulfillment software!

Fabulous summer pants!
Very light, great quality linen pants, so comfortable — perfect for hot humid weather. Highly recommended. Sizing is consistent with Eileen Fisher’s usual sizing. I wear size 4 or 6 in other brands, these pants in size XS fit perfectly well.

Perfect linen pants for hot summers
As a 5’4 large size 56 year old with shorter legs, it’s hard finding pants that are slimming /flattering, especially linen. These are it. I love them & would’ve bought more if I had the $.
**Please bring back linen jersey v-necks 3/4 sleeves in good colors!**

Tapered linen pants are comfy and versatile
The nocturne color works well with many colors and will transition well with Fall weather. The linen pants are about one inch too short so have invested in black socks to fill the space. Liked the pants so much that I bought another pair! And purchased the dress and short sleeve shirt. Returned the longer sleeved shirt because the sleeves were too short for my long arms. Really love this nocturne color!
