"Puckered" -- read Rumpled
First of all I am a huge fan of Eileen Fisher and have a 'closet' selected over many years. So I make an honest comment because I find this fabric/style beyond disappointing. I have the petite jacket and pants of a look-alike suit offered a couple years ago with a black stripe, made in Indonesia 84% cotton, 14% linen. I love it and wear often. I am 5'2", 124lbs. This new Linen line is 100% 'puckered' linen with a pleated front and slanted pockets, elastic waistband. The generous amount of fabric at the waist/belly appears as clown pants and there's nothing to adjust. I also bought the jacket (not vest) which sags, not hangs on you, and pants and jacket sleeves must be cuffed to accommodate the wrinkly hems. And forget trying to travel with this as you will be too embarrassed to appear as rumpled pj's even after diligently following the care instruction. So very sorry for this review ~ I'm sorry I spent $426 for this fabric/style/suit.

Not for short woman w no steamer!
I'm 5', 110lbs and look like a circus clown in these pants. Does anyone look good in pants that make thighs look big? Also, fussy cleaning instructions. Wash, hang dry then steam. I don't own one and not planning to buy an appliance I need only for 1 outfit. Going back.

Perfect for summer
Bought normal size xs and about 128 lbs. The fabric is a beautiful linen weave. Yes it wrinkles and I ironed after washing. Great set with the vest. Perfect for 100 plus weather in NV. Love the texture and over ad kk look

Lovely linen trousers
I receive compliments every time I wear these. They do need ironing - linen, after all - but look so put together yet comfortable. I could have sized down from a large to a medium. I usually wear EF L, but these are pretty flowy.

Disappointing
After 30 years of buying EF….this was my biggest disappointment. When I took it out of the package it was beautiful and a lovely fabric. I wore the pants once and then hand washed cold and drip dried.
It dried looking like a wrinkled mess even though I tried to smooth it out by hand. So wrinkled I could never wear the pants to even a casual occasion without feeling shabby.
The size was perfect…XS. I’m 5’4. 105 lbs.
I have many other EF linen pieces that dry much nicer. Sorry for this review, EF. :-(
