Light and breezy
This puckered linen fabric feels and looks like seersucker. It will be fresh and cool to wear on a hot summer day. I shortened it on my sewing machine at home by turning up the hem and sewing a straight stitch.

My ‘go to’
Comfortable, lose dress, with pockets. Not sure if I would have paid full price for it, but glad I bought it. Wish it had sleeves as I don’t like to show of my old arms. Looks good with a black sweater. Probably would also look good with red.

A little less than perfect
I was thrilled when this showed up on the clearance rack at my local store in my size. It fit well and looks nice, except that I took one star off for poor-quality fabric. Seersucker is one of my favorite things to wear in the summer: it’s cool and doesn’t need ironing - except this dress!
This stuff is lightweight to the point of flimsy. The front placket always looks wrinkled, as well as the pockets. I ended up giving it a quick ironing to make it look better. All in all, I’m happy to keep wearing it, but I’m sure glad I did t pay full price.
