Perfect summer top
This linen top is perfect for warm summers down south. The fit is true to size if you want to button and wear like a shirt, however, I ordered one size down to wear open as a jacket or over a dress.

Love the style, but....
Bought in the black/cream check in Medium with matching pants. Jacket fit nicely but color turned out to be very bland on me (although bland is usually my thing). Prefer the black/greem check but not in summer. The pants did not fit in ANY size; too baggy in thigh. FYI; I'm 5'3.5" & 150. EF has become very unreliable re: sizing which is unfortunate since I primarily wear their brand.

Nice lightweight linen jacket for work…
Nice, lightweight linen jacket for work during spring/summer/fall here in the northeast. I like that it’s 3/4 sleeves (too many jackets/tops for summer are long sleeves, which I don’t get especially with global warming. :). I got it in the black, which is black/grey check, after purchasing the blue/black check version a couple of years ago. I’m giving it a 4 instead of 5 because the grey is a drabber, almost olive color rather than a lighter/brighter grey. I was hoping I could wear it over the grey linen v-neck sleeveless top I bought a couple of years ago but the v neck is lighter/brighter grey so not the best match. I wear XL and 1X in EF and glad I got this in the 1X vs the XL that I got the blue/black one in. The 1X fits perfectly, as did the blue in the XL. The price point for this item was high at $198, but using my birthday reward and a gift card helped. Most of my clothes are EF so I clearly like the fabrics, designs and workmanship, but I really wish she’d bring back the 26-28” sleeveless silk knit shells and in a variety of colors including jewel tones and pastels. I also wish she’d bring back linen knit tees for summer that have more flattering and slightly longer sleeves to just above the elbow and also 26-28”. The 24-25” tops are just not flattering for my 5’4” apple body.

Better Than Black
This fabric is lovely, but you have to look up close to see the subtle black/grey check.
I am most often between a Medium Petite, and a LP. I tried both, and found the Medium P just perfect. It is truly scaled for a shorter body.

My Second Purchase of this Top
I first bought this in my usual EF size. It fits like a slim top and is very cute on. But I kept seeing the flowy, jacket-like fit pictured on the website and wanted that too. Sized up one size and now have both. I do use an iron to touch up this top after washing and hanging to dry.

Perfect Basic
Nicely lightweight with just enough detail to be interesting - will probably be one of those basics that I reach for over and over and should be great for travel. It is wonderful to find a lightweight jacket in a dark fabric that can be worn year-round in AZ. I bought the medium which fits well, but I am all over the map in EF sizing, taking everything from an XS to L. There seems to be a real inconsistency among the EF clothes. I've begged repeatedly for clothing measurements (more than length and inseam) to be shown on the website, but so far it is a guessing game.

Perfect for Summer
I wear either a M or a L and I wasn't sure which to order. Some reviewers said it was too small, while others said it was too large. I ordered both sizes and ended up keeping the M. I wanted it to wear over sleeveless dresses, and to be more like a "blouse jacket" than an actual jacket. The L was more like a jacket. I would have been happy with either. The fabric is a nice summer weight - I believe it is the same weight as the dresses, shirts, and slacks that are currently being sold in the checked linen.

Great Linen Jacket!
