Very nice pants but ordinary style
These are very nice good quality linen pants that are completely ordinary. Several other companies make the same thing at various price points. If you need a certain color that goes with other Eileen Fisher items then these would be a very useful purchase. But in the basic colors they are kind of expensive for what they are.

I ordered this pant in PM and it is too tight.
I usually wear regular medium.
I have a lantern pant and it fits beautifully.
Maybe I should buy one of those?

What is it with EF waistbands?
It seems almost all pants EF constructs are with gathered waistbands instead of smooth. This is the frumpiest looking and most uncomfortable type. I love a stretchy waistband but I find myself looking elsewhere for pants because I don't want this look. It is cheap looking, too much material and not refined. It also accentuates any weight you carry in your midsection. EF has gone down hill in multiple ways - it's so disappointing.

Lovely pants
Great fit. Nice fabric. Love the Ebony color. I wear with Ebony cotton sweater and Ebony parachute shawl for a somewhat dressy look. Mix with other earth toned tops and big canvas totes to dress down.

The quality of the linen is wonderful. It is soft but has a little bit of crispness as well.
I often find loose linen pants just too wide, these are not. The length is perfect for my barely 5'4" height.

Nice but run large
Loved the pants, but alas, the PP sizing seems to have gotten larger in many items. They were just what I wanted but way too large. Too much material in the waist and pocket area. Have to return. For reference I'm 5'2" -110

So happy!
I got these in PM and they fit perfectly. Still long, but not as huge as the regular sizes. I’m a little bigger in the waist and they fit fine. I have narrow hips and am 5’1”. I’m so happy that these are not to baggy where I get swallowed in them. Usually, I have to hem and taper. Not these! I might have to get a smaller size for when I lose weight.

Comfort and Style
These pants fill my expectations with everyday comfort and casual style. The kind of fashion that I will enjoy wearing day after day (Of course, I will have to launder them which is why I will get another pair in a different color). I chose ebony and have ordered a tee shirt in that color.

Didn’t work for me
I often find that EF ankle pants are too long for me- if I have them altered it seems to throw off the tapering of the leg. PLEASE start making your pants in petite plus sizes!

The color of these pants did not hit me. Was looking for a khaki even a shade of tan. This was almost a yellowish. Did not like at all.

White linen slacks

Organic linen tapered pants, loose waist
I liked everything about these pants except for the waist. It was bigger than usual (and I'm not a small waisted person); and as one reviewer said, the elastic in the waist is very loose to the point that it did not even grip my waist. If I could have figured out a way to make it work, I would have kept them, but, sadly, I had to return them.

Now that I have the right size I’m very happy with these pants. I would love it if the fabric were a bit heavier so that the pockets are less visible. Otherwise, I wear them daily.

A Petite Large that fits
I bought the natural color in a PL a couple of months ago. I have been very pleased with them. The rise measurement in this size was perfect for me (and my ample tummy) to give me plenty of room. My lantern style pants have become a bit tight in the rise, which I understand is part of the style, but these are more comfortable. IMHO, EF needs to continue to carry PL's that are roomy, since there is no PXL size offered!

Poor elastic in the waist
when I tried these pants on in the store (with the vest) I thought that they fit perfectly. However, after wearing them and walking around, I kept having to pull them up. I decided that the elastic was just too big and took them to an alterations store. She said no, this is just poor elastic, no give, and she has to replace it. $50, which I thought was high. I then went to Nordstrom's and looked at these same pants, and pulled on the elastic. Yes, all of these pants have poor elastic, so beware before you buy.

Perfect Summer pants
I just received my white organic linen pants. The fit is perfect! I first ordered them in small, but they were too high in the rise, too long, and unflatteringly baggy. Changing to the petite small size fixed the fit for me perfectly. I’m going to order them in another color. I love them!

Tapered pants with pockets
After trying at least four different EF pants with pockets, have finally decided I would do better to stick with her straight pull-on pants with no pockets which Ihave been wearing for years. Still hoping to find a straight pull-on pant with no pockets in Midnight as I have mentioned now and then.

Poor fit for me in this recent reincarnation
Love the look of this pant, however, it didn't fit in any size - both small and medium. Far too baggy and full in the thigh. Disappointed. Waist and length fine.
