Hoping these will be good for travel!
These are slightly oversized and comfortable. The legs are wide enough that when wearing they almost have the look of a summer skirt. I'm hoping they will be good for travel -- look dressy enough, but give the coverage of shorts vs a skirt when active.

Great shorts
I love the fabric and longer length - the drawstring is a must because I have sent back some bottoms because the hip fits but waist too big. Good cut for a plus sized woman. Flattering.

Light breezy linen!
These shorts are so light, airy and comfortable. They feel like a summer skirt. I got them to beat the Arizona triple-digit heat, and they really do the job.

OK, but shorter than desired
Third time buying linen shorts; purchase every 2 years or so. These shorts have less length than previous. Slightly heavier fabric. I prefer them a little longer. Question need for drawstring on an elastic waist. I'll keep trying, please keep making.

Great fit but more sheer fabric then I had expected. I have same shorts in black and beige and they are lightweight but not sheer. So watch what color underwear you wear!

Ironing is problematic...
I love these shorts. Would have given 5 stars but puzzled about fabric care.
Directions say hand wash (ok) and iron under lowest setting. This did nothing to this linen.
I can send to cleaners (prefer not) but don't know that they would follow lowest setting instructions either.
Wrinkled linen is ok but do like to have a crisp look once and awhile.

Love the white shorts
The white shorts are classy and comfy. The shorts tend to be oversized: I'm 5'2" and 140 lbs, and the size small looked great on me. Very happy, ordering another pair.

Light, airy & comfortable
Bought 3 pair (black & charcoal). I find them perfect for everyday. I’m 5’4” apple shape - they almost come to my knees, which is great - I don’t feel too uncovered to run to the store in them. They wash well, don’t need ironing, are cool to wear and not binding. I can see that the white material might feel thin, but it’s perfect in the dark colors

Not for a Petite
I am a true curvy petite and these simply don't work. Only regular sizing available for these shorts. They are quite long and extrememly boxy.

Love, love them!
Love, love these shorts! They are the perfect weight - not too heavy or lightweight. The linen fabric is elegant and flows nicely. I love the color too -so gentle and sophisticated. Pockets are a wonderful bonus.

Organic Linen Shorts
Although I haven't worn them yet, these shorts fit perfectly with just a slight amount of looseness without being baggy. Quality and construction are excellent, which one has come to expect from Eileen Fisher. I predict they'll be one of my first choices for spring, summer and early fall wear here in the desert.

Good everyday shorts
They are baggy which I expected but the drawstring waist is a plus for keeping them in place. Maybe I could have gone down to XS but the S is very comfortable so I’m keeping them. I like the length above the knee, the linen is a nice weight and fairly soft. I think they look best with a longer top.

Sizing is Terribly Off
I followed the new size guideline and ordered up to size 3XL- (In the past I have always ordered size XL in everything from EF- the lady I spoke with prior to placing my order said the shorts will most likely shrink when washed)-I have found the 3XL to be too large. Now I think the size I should have ordered, 1XL, is sold out. So disappointed as these are really nice shorts. I would hesitate to recommend to a friend as the new EF size guidelines have me totally confused. I agree with one lady who suggested EF make 12" bermuda shorts.

Nothing Says Summer Like Linen
Love the linen and the length, but I especially love the drawstring. Shorts that fit my hips are usually too big in the waist, and the drawstring solves that problem. An elastic waist with a drawstring is a perfect fit for me. I love the shorts and will enjoy wearing them this Summer. Nothing says Summer like linen shorts!
