Nice Classic Shorts
The organic linen shorts are a classic cut, linen is thin for summer wear, and they look good on. I didn't keep them, because the color was too "grey beige" for me. I was looking for a warmer more golden beige as in past EF purchases. Also, I have a thick waist for my size (size 2, 29" waist) and the waistband was straining a bit on me. Otherwise though, I would recommend these shorts if you like a more cool tone neutral color.

The fit is true to size. They are lightweight and length is to the knee ( I’m 5’7”, size 8).
They are great looking either casual or to wear slightly dressier. Definitely ordering in another color.

Exactly What I Wanted
These shorts have all of the features I wanted: longer length, fly front (versus pull-on), darts in back for a more fitted/tailored look, pockets that don't add bulk. I bought them in undyed natural, and like them so much that I might order another in a different color. I really like the soft linen fabric: it's not scratchy and drapes nicely.
In EF pants, I sometimes take a Small or Medium, depending on the style. In these shorts, I ordered Size 8, which fits perfectly.

Wrong Fit for Me
Beautiful knee length shorts and the linen was just the right weight. However the waist in the L was too tight with no give. The XL waist was okay but the fit was off with ballooning sides and too much material in the back. Returned both pairs.

Happy with quality and style
Nice and light weight. As they reach to the knee, they elongate my body to look slim and taller. I am 5’5 and weigh 132. I’m bigger on top so I ordered an 8, but Eileen F runs big and I returned them for a 6. Fits well. Haven’t worn yet, but dressy enough to wear on a weekend at a nice restaurant, especially at the shore.

Wider short legs and higher waist
These are wider in the legs than the previous 3 pairs I have - and a bit higher on the waist. It's so hard to find shorts this length I kept them but I do like the older version of these a little bit more. Thanks.

Sooo comfortable
These shorts are perfect for a hot and muggy day. The fabric is lightweight and comfortable. They are not as flattering to my short stature as I would like - the pant legs are wider than I care for - but that’s what makes them so nice to wear in the heat.
