Perfect Summer Go-to!
Classic summer look! The skirt hangs well without too much material for a flowy, long skirt. Easy to dress up or down. I'm 5'3, 145 lbs (apple shape) and took and XS.

Graceful lines
Pleased that I could find a linen skirt that was not so maxi as to be too long. But there was an Eileen Fisher linen skirt—which is still my go to in beige—a few years ago that had a light weight liner and gores in the structure and the seams fell beautifully, and it did not require a slip which I will need under this skirt.

OVERPRICED, POOR QUALITY FABRIC
Poor quality fast fashion linen, not worth the price. Similar in quality to H&M or Zara, both retailers sell these basic styles in cheap fabrics at 1/3 or less of this price.

Soft and breathable!
I was looking for this type of linen skirt for quite some time and ended up buying two in different colors (white and beige/natural) from Eileen Fisher. The linen is soft to touch and wrinkles fashionably, giving it a sporty look. The length seemed a bit too long (I am 5'5") so I spoke with a tailor about shortening it but was advised against it to keep the style. This is my new favorite skirt- perfect for summer: light and breathable; nice cut, color and material. Comfortable packets! Linen has been known to be one of the healthies natural fabrics for centuries. The EF skirt is just perfect for summer. I would buy it again!

Favorite Summer Skirt!
Surprised at all the comments from the shorter folks complaining that the skirt is too long. I’m 5’2”, wear a size small and absolutely LOVE the length on this skirt - which totally keeps it from looking frumpy - and is so chic dressed up or down. Have the skirt in both natural and black and could not be more pleased from the weight of the fabric (not too thin or too thick with great drape) to the amount of gathering at the waist (not so full that it swallows me but enough to be swingy and cool) to the pockets set more toward the front of the skirt (not directly on the side seams where they add unwanted bulk). Yes, it wrinkles (it’s linen!) but that’s the whole point. Wear with a non-wrinkly top piece for effortless summer style. Excellent addition to my wardrobe!

Too big.
For a short person who is not too wide, like me, this skirt was too much. I would like a long skirt without so much fabric, maybe more of a straight line like the wool wrap skirt from last fall.

I purchased petite small and fits perfectly on my small frame ( for reference I am 5.2 , 115 pounds)

Great after hemming
Well cut comfortable skirt with pockets big enough to hold a cell phone. However, the length is meant for a tall person, so at 5’6", I felt like I was drowning in fabric. After shortening it by about four inches, it was great. I wish it had been offered in petite sizes.

Swishy, stylish and a must-have staple
I am delighted with this linen pocket skirt! It is exactly as pictured. The linen has considerable weight, which makes it swing a bit. I feel so comfortable and stylish in this skirt! Yes, it is linen. Yes, it will wrinkle, but who cares? I spray a bit of anti-wrinkle product on it and head out the door. Love it with simple boxy shirts and cropped cardigans. So glad I added it to my summer wardrobe. I went with a MEDIUM.

Not what I expected from Eileen Fisher
I was excited to find this white skirt. I have been looking for this style for a long time. I ordered it online and picked it up in the store. I asked if I could try it on before leaving. When I tried it on, it was entirely see through. I was wearing white underwear and one could see not only the outline of my under, but my legs. Not what I was expecting. Even the sales person was surprised as to how see through the skirt was. Needless to say I returned it then and there. Very disappointed in the material used.

The perfect summer skirt and more.
Beautiful fabric and very soft. The skirt was too long for me so it had to be shortened.( I am 5.2 ) It looks perfect. I loved the pockets. The color is neutral so it goes with a lot of colors. White, beige all shades, black, etc.It’s good for day and night.

Hoped for a more elegant look
The fabric is great. I love the pockets
My biggest complaints are that the hem is not straight but curved front and back. An issue I did not anticipate to have to correct. The second issue is the inelegant curtain rod style elastic waistband. Adds bulk to my middle. I know Eileen Fisher clothing have been made with flat, invisible stretch waistbands-I own one and have loved it for 20 years. Disappointed in this fast fashion trend

Cool and Comfortable
The skirt is beautiful as well as comfortable and I love the pockets. I’m 5’4” and the skirt is too long. I wish I could have purchased this in a petite size which was not available. Eileen Fisher clothes are timeless, quality pieces.

Very pleased with the skirt
I bought the skirt in black thinking it would work in more seasons. The waist runs a tiny bit large but makes it more comfortable. I've worn it to several different functions, changing out the top and accessories. It always looks elegant and I get compliments even from strangers. I love the pockets! I definitely recommend this garment as a versatile and useful addition to one's wardrobe.
I'm 5'5", weigh about 118 lbs and bought a size M. I'm a woman of a certain age and very selective about clothing.

Light, comfy and just right for hot Summer days
I had to size down due to availability and thank goodness I did, as this skirt fit much better as M for me. Just wore it on a hot day in Charleston and it was cool and comfortable. I’ll probably get it again in another color.

Different from earlier pocket skirt
This is not the same pocket skirt I bought five or 6 years ago at an Eileen Fisher store. That one had side seam pockets plus a decorative pocket mid-length in both front and back. That’s what I thought I would be getting. I had to donate that “pocket skirt” after a coffee spill. I was disappointed that this one didn’t have those additional pockets as the style was so cute. But in defense of this new design it has fewer gathers, a slimming A line, and is full length. Quite flattering with a fitted 3/4 length sleeve tee. But no one is going to say where did you find that cute skirt?

I wanted to love this
If I had known it was “handkerchief” linen, I would never have ordered it. There is one thing with linen wrinkling, but this is — you look at it and the wrinkles are immediate and intense. I had ordered a dress in the same linen some time ago, and even if you iron it, as soon as you put it on, the wrinkles happen immediately and make the skirt look truly bad.

Where are the petite sizes?????
Size XXS is still much too much fabric for a petite person. The skirt is just too voluminous for the height-challenged wearer. Beautiful fabric, though. Love the pockets! How about scaling this skirt down for petite figures?
