Comfortable and good looking
Got it in dark brown, because I can't really wear a white dress. I don't wear it with trousers. It feels cool and looks quite elegant.

Boxy fit made this too big
Wanted to love this but the fit didn’t work. I’m 5’5”, 140 lbs, pear-shaped, bought xs and the very boxy fit just swallowed me. Even the shoulders were too big. Sadly, this was returned.

Style trick for petites
I bought this in March and I have worn it only once. Sadly, it looks like a lab coat on me and especially with the pockets on the outside. I wish now I had purchased in black and the pockets were hidden. I am only 5'5" and I cannot pull this style off in white. I would like to exchange it for something else or at least exchange it to black.

Changed design
I have two similar dresses--one white, one black,, purchased about 3 years ago. Decided to get a beige but find this dress is not as good overall quality, including fabric and especially fit. Apparently design has been changed... I have returned it.

Love this dress! Comfortable and flattering
This is one of my favorite EF linen dresses to date. I ordered the Espresso, a rich chocolate brown, in the smaller of my two sizes (L). I'm 5'5", 195 lbs, 36G and the dress fits very well. The side slit is not too high on my frame and does not require pants to be worn underneath. Length hit at about my knees- not too long, not too short. The buttons do not gape on me, the espresso color is not sheer. This dress feels more structured with a touch more heft to it than the puckered linen fabric. I'll be taking it on my trips this summer to wear during the day and in the evenings.

Lose The Pockets
I loved how this dress fit and felt. The issue is that the huge front pockets make it look like a lab coat and cheapens what would have been a polished and versatile look. Super disappointed.

Multiple Use Dress
Purchased this dress with matching trouser pants. Dress fits true to size. Has a nice drape when buttoned. Can also wear as a duster over slacks or a dress. The Organic Linen can also be worn with Eileen Fisher silk pieces. This dress has multiple uses and will be worn often. Due to the versatility of this piece, it is perfect for travel!
