Asymmetrical length otherwise amazing
I really like the look but when I was trying on and excited to show my friend... he noticed the legs are not the sane length. I took them off and folded the pants in half, it is indeed not the same - almost 1" off!!! The waist band was sewed weird on one side as well. I immediately checked if I could order another one and return this one but sadly to find out that LP is sold out :( :( :( I am debating on whether I should keep it or not because I really truly like how they look and feel - yet at the same time not sure if I want to pay $158 for a pair of paints that have 2 big flaws...

Could be great
When will I stop ordering white linen pants with pockets, hoping you can't see through them? These pants are very comfortable with a flattering fit, but be advised that the white version shows the pockets straight through, which is such a cheap look. Will be returning, but would consider buying another color.

A great basic
Lovely medium weight linen. Good drape.
I’ve been looking for black linen and they seem to be in short supply this year.
The lantern shape works for me. I had tried EF linen straight pants, but they were too wide for me. I do love the flowey look of slacks that move and these worked. I’m 5’2” tho so hemming was necessary. Sadly petite sizes don’t do it...I’m short but not “petite”!

Needs a better elastic band
The fabric is lovely but the waistband is not strong. I can’t put my phone in my pocket as it sags too low. Otherwise, super comfy!

Comfortable and flattering, even to someone 4'10"
The lantern pant is a perfect shape and length (in petite) for us vertically challenged girls. They are so comfortable, yet pretty enough to wear out for a little dressier dinner or party. I love the pockets--practical without overwhelming the line of the pants. These clothes designed to flatter petites really do the job. Thank you, Eileen!

Perfect comfortable pants
I ordered the sea green and orange pants size small but had to return for a smaller size. they were too large and too long so I returned them for a petite small and they fit perfect. So comfortable and easy to dress up or down. Love them.

Lantern Linen is so nice in summer.

Perfect fit. Even though the size chart indicated a medium for my shape, I purchased size small because I knew the thigh would be loose fitting. EF: Is it possible to provide width of pants in thigh area?

Organic Linen Lantern Pants
This is my first pair of lantern pants, and I love them! I’m 5’4”, so the pants are ankle length on me, and I like them that way. I haven’t worn them yet, except to try them on - several times - but I know I will wear them a great deal.

Love the lantern style
Great quality linen - lightweight, but substantial and not see-through. I bought the pants in black and seaweed. The seaweed color is a fantastic neutral and should be carried all the time, IMO. The lantern cut is my favorite of all EF pants; it’s very flattering on. I wear a medium in EF (a size 12 in most US) and these fit as expected. My only negatives are the pleats are unnecessary and the pants were ever-so-slightly snug while pulling up (the elastic not as giving as other pants?), but once on they look great.

Best version of EF's linen lantern pant yet!
This pant fits perfectly--a bit large at first but once washed and hanged to dry the fit is perfect. The waist is comfortable, the pant is loose at the hips but tapers nicely at the ankle, and the pocket placement is perfect. I hope these are added in more colors. I'll buy them all. The white is a bit see-thru, but the black and seaweed are dark, rich colors that prove to be very versatile for my summer wardrobe. These pants definitely fit petite sizes better--I'm 5'3" and they come to just above my ankle. LOVE!!

Not flattering
For the price of these pants you think they would tack down the elastic in the waist correctly so it will not twist in the band. When I tried on the pants for the first time I could already feel the elastic trying to twist. I did not feel they these looked good on me either. I am 5'5 and ordered a PM. They were baggy in the crotch and not flattering on my frame. I love pockets on anything. But I feel like the pockets made the pant even more unflattering. I would have preferred a more smooth look in the front. This was my first time buying EF pants too. I usually order tops and dresses. I may try EF pants again in the future when I can try them on in the store.

Stylish and comfortable
Great but it is linen but I wouldn’t wear it for an airplane ride. Very comfortable. I’m 5’2” 122lbs with hips hips. Purchased the petite med and it was just the way I like the fit. I live in Florida so they will be good with our weather. Wish I’d gotten the tan but they were too popular.

Great Seaweed color...runs very large he
I really love the new seaweed color and find myself reaching often for these pants. Having said that, they run HUGE. My normal size small was one or two sizes too big. The petite small was much more in proportion. I struggle with EF sizing these days. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

Not a great fit for me :(
I was so looking forward to these pants. I bought them in white and black, my usual size PM. The material is beautiful, but a bit sheer. Must be mindful of your undergarments, especially with the white pair. The fit for me was a disappointment because they were about an inch shorter than the linen lantern pants I purchased about a year ago. I wanted to be able to roll these up for a casual look, but they are too short. They are an inch shorter and much wider at the bottom than a previous linen lantern pant that I purchased. The fit did not work for me. So sad to have to return theses.
