ridiculous pockets
When will Eileen Fisher learn to use a neutral fabric for pockets in white pants? I, and so many of my friends have purchased and returned because of the ridiculous looking pockets. They truly look ghastly. This year I finally ordered white linen pants from Vince and Lafayette. So grateful to have found designers that use nude fabric for pockets in white pants. I know all skin colors are not the same. But a nude colored fabric is better than white any day. I even went so far as to ask two different Eileen Fisher employees (one in Kansas City on the plaza and one in Edina Mn) why she insists in putting bright white pockets in white pants. They both said they do not know. They both said that is why they never buy them. Please consider using a neutral colored fabric in your pockets.

Had a large shapeless fit, should have ordered a size down. Linen is rather thin and stiff.

Linen lantern pant, sloppy looking but comfortable
I have the Lantern pants in another heavier material and love them. I find the linen pants do not hold the same structure and so these pants are only good to me for casual wear. They look somewhat sloppy.

Not For Me
I was excited to see these linen pants on sale and read all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, the lantern style is not flattering to my body type (long waisted). I sized down hoping a slimmer profile would help but it just didn't work. The quality is good - the white was a little sheer. Had to return.

Love to get white linen on sale for next summer
Wore out an old but beloved pair of white linen pants, ten years old! So glad to pick up a new pair on sale! Love the new stuff EF is showing but can’t give up my summer linens.
