Disappointed due to wrinkled appearance
I was attracted to this pair of pants as I was looking for a nice grey, comfortable pair of pants. These seemed pretty wrinkled when they arrived and indeed they require ironing each time I wear them or else they look too sloppy and wrinkled when I wear them. The weight is a little heavy considering they are linen, too. I love EF pants generally but this one isn’t working.

Stylish and flattering with a few drawbacks
Positives: The material is lightweight and feels good. The grey is a perfect classic gray, no brown or pink overtones, so it's versatile enough to wear with almost any color. The lantern pant is my favorite shape to come out of Eileen Fisher ever. They're comfortable and stylish.
Negatives: Runs a little large; I could easily wear one size down, but the loose fit is okay. Washable is great, but they come out terribly wrinkled, and not in a fashionable way, even though I follow all washing instructions.

I have these pants in white and natural, and love them. Yes they're baggy, but the seams and general shape are attractive. Linen is sturdy yet feels soft and light.

Purchased in PP, zinc. Pleased w/fabric, fit & color. Generously sized; I am 5'2", 112 lbs. & normally wear XS/PS in EF pants.
I rate these pants 4/5, even on sale, b/c/o evident (unannounced) change in cut of lantern pant, + anodyne workmanship. The latter is increasingly problematic w/EF garments, & undermines price point. I note these issues as a long-term purchaser.

Nice & lightweight, elastic waist not tight, linen has a bit of a sheen for dressy if you’re inclined. For me they will be washed and dryer-dried for comfy loungewear.

Brilliant summer trousers.
The clothes are always great. They fit well, they feel good to wear. With the Virus, I've been wearing old things...most of them EF, and I thought well, let me treat myself. It's hot, I could use some lightweight trousers and there they were, pull on Linen Pants....liked them so much, I bought another pair the next week.

Linen Lantern Pants Love of My Life
Bought these in gorgeous color Zinc and wanted another pair, but they were quickly sold out. Very disappointing. But I love these, the length, the rise are very good for a curvy 5'7" me, and the way they drape is perfect. So I hurriedly bought a black pair. These are the slacks I am living in right now, thank you, Eileen!

Comfort and updated style
I ordered two pairs of these pants in my usual size and they are a perfect fit. A nice alternative from my usual jean or crop pants look. The black pants with a nice white shirt feels modern but not stuffy. Great for date night.

Yay pants with pockets!
The number one reason I love these pants is because they have pockets! I don’t buy pants anymore if they don’t have pockets. Also, being tall I often have trouble finding pants long enough. These are the perfect length and a flattering style. They do run large so I’m returning the black pants for a smaller size. The white pants are too revealing and you can see the pockets through the fabric. I will be returning those. Too bad because I really liked them.

Great fit, but white was not for me.
I have these pants in the cinnamon and khaki, and because the fit was so great I ordered them in white. The white was too transparent, and the pockets showing through were a major feature. So I did return them. The great fit was due to pockets being in front as opposed to being on sides so hips are not accentuated, and the lantern cut was not too severe. The linen is a good weight. The white was not for me.

High quality, too long
They were lovely, but far too long for me. Because I am older, and have underlying issues, I have self-quarantined at home. Therefore, I cannot get to a seamstress to shorten. Regrettably, I returned the two pairs I had ordered thinking they were ankle length. They seemed to be so well made, and I liked the fabric.

These pants are extremely baggy and run large. While they are comfortable they are not very flattering.
The material is a nice linen but I would not buy another pair of these pants. Not worth the money

Lovely linen pants
It’s a beautiful linen pant but much too baggy. Maybe I should have sized down as they billow around my legs. I am keeping them and wearing them but they are huge on me. The fabric is a lovely lightweight linen. They will keep me cool on hot days.

There's nothing like a pair of EF linen pants to make one feel well-dressed! These do not disappoint. I also have them in the delave fabrication. The linen gets nicer and nicer with each wearing.

Nice enough pant but a bit baggy in the butt, The material is a very smooth linen, pockets are nice. For this price I think the design should be a flat front with elastic only in the back- would improve style overall. Just not special enough to keep- did not fit like I expect a lantern pant to. Returned.

Exactly Right for Summer
My favorite purchase in the past two years! For me, these are the perfect summer solution. I wear tops outside of pants and I'm short-waisted. I'm short, but I'm not thin, I'm curvy and these pants are perfect. I had some like these when I WAS thin, way back when, and loved them then as well. Material is weighty enough but still breezy and cool. Wearing them I feel pretty and stylish and fun.
Truly, these pants give me confidence and free me up from worrying about looking frumpy, I feel great in them. Hopefully, if you try them, you'll feel the same! Oh- and about "value", yes, they are simple linen summer pants, but the cut makes them unique. If this virus hadn't wiped out my budget, I'd get them in another color, and I'd get a smaller size of the black that I bought too- because I'm losing weight and I don't want to be without them!
