Love linen jersey knits
If you love linen knits like I do you’ll love this item. I now have it in four colors. Sadly two are a size too large because I lost a lot of weight but hey I wear them anyway around the house.

Perfect weight, neckline & length 4 tropical heat
Cannot survive humid, tropical heat of the mid-Atlantic coast w/o this fine guage, soft, spongy, linen jersey that breathes like a wonder: don’t change a thing. I shudder at the prospect of having to spend another Summer w/o this light, soft & comfy breathable fabric that dries in minutes on my body. No more sodden, soggy, perspired, cotton tees clinging to me making me miserable, thanks: over it. Eileen Fisher’s PERFECT WEIGHT linen jersey V-neck is for me. Now let’s add an elbow sleeve option please, for days when we need to look more elegant & less devil-may-care casual. These withstand repeated machine washing/drying beautifully. To extend the life of knit fibers as much as possible I recommend using lingerie bags & the gentle cycle to protect these fine, organic, natural materials from normal abrasion occurring in the wash cycle, and using low heat in the dryer to ensure best shape/length retention. I purchased 5 of these tees this year in both white & brights and I wash & wear them weekly. For anyone unsure of their personal comfort level in an airy, lightweight, linen knit I encourage trying these over your nude/skin tone undergarments for modesty. But truly, gone are the days when we were obliged to obfuscate even the merest hint of an outline of an undergarment being employed for support under our clothes. In fact, less than a decade ago I once whispered to a confident, senior, supervisor that she might want to run home over lunch to switch-out of her see-through chiffon top ‘cause her polka dot undergarment was clearly visible, and she informed me in no uncertain terms that she had no intention of doing so. But just a few years earlier a different (younger & perhaps less confident) female supervisor interrupted me while I sat facing a wall at my desk quietly working to order that I had to replace my shrug over my completely opaque spaghetti strap tank top. Personally I couldn’t avoid the deer in headlights look wrt that command: was someone walking behind my back possibly offended by glimpsing the back side of my almost bare shoulders? Point being that everyone still has completely different comfort levels when it comes to the feminine form, even if the form in question isn’t their own! Vive la difference.

Perfect Summer Top
As always, this piece is at the top of the heap in terms of style, fit, material, and construction. Casual while able to notch up. Perfectly comfortable on a warm day, and on cool evenings, top it with an EF jacket. You can’t go wrong with this understated yet chic piece. Wear with a skirt, pants, or shorts, and you’ll feel like a million bucks.

Nice shape, fabric too thin
I like the shape, but the fabric is way too thin: it would not withhold repeated summer washing. Recently, EF teeshirt fabrics have been too thin and often have holes before the end of summer (or is it my washing machine?)..
