Light weight foundation piece
I bought this tank in white to wear under shirts. I think I will wear this often. It is airy and drapes nicely. I washed it on delicate and hung it to dry. The sizing remained the same.

I live in these tanks in summer
I have several of these knit linen tanks in white, in different lengths. I always wear these backwards because I love a boat-neck and it gives me a bit of sun protection on my chest (even though I avoid sun as much as possible.) I’m delighted to have these available in so many colors that work well on me - cooler tones. I love that they layer well and for the most humid times, are great alone

Love the tank, not the color
I got this to go with some linen pants. Love the tank, but the color was really washed out, more of a mint than an aqua, so I sent it back.
I have several of these linen jersey tanks and love the feel, fit and drape. They also wash well.

Nice but quality not as it used to be
I’ve purchased in black, striped, and white. Fabric in black and striped a bit better than plain white. Fabric quality not what it used to be. Purchased PS. Im 5’3, 135 lbs. I wash all EF in lingerie bag on gentle cold, fluff air in dryer, hang to dry. No shrinkage.

I bought this in absinthe—great color—to wear under the matching linen shirt I bought last year. I ordered my usual size, M, and was flabbergasted when it was super snug in the chest. I wear M in everything Eileen and, if anything M can be a bit generous on me . This was sized very differently, and I also that that it is very short, even for a Basic length. I have returned it and have ordered a L despite my fear that the armholes will be too big. We’ll see.

Love it, but….
Love the top, bought on Fourth in Berkeley, CA at the Eileen Fisher store, the sales associate told me I can wash it in the washing machine and dry in the dryer, NOT SO!!I did it, and my white linen tank top was half the size, so I had to buy it again.

Perfect to wear under unbuttoned blouses
I love these little tanks tops - the linen has a beautiful hand and the colors are gorgeous. I just wish these also came in a longer size. The longer linen jersey tanks are beautiful but only come in black and white.

A Must for all Wardrobes
I now own these essential pieces in seven different colors. Whenever they go on sale, I pick up a couple more. Versatility is their strength. They are great in the summer all by themselves or under a light cardigan. (like that adorable cropped airy linen cardigan) The rest of the year they add just the right amount of coverage under something sheer or they provide a little extra warmth. I also need them under certain wool tops (I have a mild allergy to wool). Please Eileen, never stop making these in the basic length and as many colors as possible! Love them.

Poor quality linen 3”shrinkage
Very unhappy with shrinkage. Wash delicate & dry extra low delicate results in 3” of shrinkage in length. Very unfortunate since I bought several colors and they’re all like that.

Easy to style
I have several of these tanks. I like the fabric and the style looks pulled together over cropped wide leg pants for summer. The Aegean is beautiful green and was on sale. Wouldn’t pay the full price of almost $90 for this top.

Nice, loose tank
Beautiful color! Nice drape. I usually wear small, but got this on sale in medium. It fit great! It has a little swing to it, which goes well with any pair of pants. Love the weight of the linen, too.

Item never arrived
Items never arrived due to a logistical error by Eileen Fisher and UPS. Yet Eileen Fisher Customer Service rep blamed it on UPS and refuses to do anything about it. I’m disappointed in Eileen Fisher’s customer service. I’ve been loyal to this brand but their customer service falls short compared to quality of their clothing.

Versatile & comfy summer top
A summer go-to top. Mine is in the stunning colour "Aegean" (to go with pants) but the colours span the EF spectrum; so pick a couple, or three. The organic linen weave is thin and light, comfortable in 95 degree weather (I've recently discovered!) but surprisingly tough. My only caution: Bra straps may appear if you're moving your arms. (Some people hate that; myself, I wear pretty bras and don't care.) This top hangs well, with a nice swing when you walk. I love it.

Graceful and lightweight linen tank
I like the Eileen Fisher Organic Linen Jersey Tank because the shoulder straps are wide enough to be graceful and cover bra straps, but not so wide as to look clumsy. The neckline is lower than a
t-shirt which has a nicer look when worn underneath an open shirt. I bought this tank to wear under an open long-sleeved shirt in the summer (my arms have aged and no longer like to be seen, so it's not likely that I will wear the tank by itself). It is still cool and often foggy where I live, so I haven't yet gotten a chance to wear this tank (perhaps later in the summer...). I now have four of these tanks in different colors: nocturne (a deep blue), grove, seaweed, and now flame. I just purchased the tank in flame because I thought the bright & cheerful red would look great and provide a contrast underneath a lot of my Eileen Fisher shirts (black, white, checked deep green and black). The linen fabric is very lightweight and I like the way the tank drapes and moves. The tank seems longer on me than it appears on the models. I bought the tank in size L. For size reference, I'm about 5'6"and 38DD with 43" hips. Size large fits me nicely (not too large or too small). I will wash it gently (either by hand, or on the hand wash cycle on my washing machine, which is extremely gentle) and hang to dry.

My order was placed on 06/01/2024 and as of this day, 06/15/2024, I have not received my order. I have contacted Eileen Fisher on two separate occasions, 06/10/2024 & 06/122024, and was informed that I should hear from the Post Office in 2-3 days. As of this day, 06/152024, I have not heard from the post office. When I attempt to check on the post office tracking#: 92612909836224551100245989, the message reads that "Your item was delivered to an individual at the address at 2:13 pm on April 10, 2024 in Cazenovia, NY 13035. My order was placed 06/01/2024 and I do not live in New York. I need your assistance, please assist now.

Bronze Linen Tee Disappointing
I bought the bronze linen tank to go with the pleated silk skirt and returned both. I was really disappointed with the bronze color it just looked dull and l was hoping for a color that was rich and vibrant. The bronze did not do anything for my olive skin. I like the linen tanks and have purchased them before. Though l wish EF would make a 3/4 sleeve boatneck linen tee for women who want arm coverage.

Love the darker colors. Run true to size.
These skim perfectly over my less than ideal tummy area which I’m always self conscious of. The pastel colors wash me out so I love that these are offered in darker jewel toned shades.
I never know which size to order as various EF tops & dresses fit me either too big or too tight. I have some EF gauze dresses that fit me in XL , other tops I have to order in XL, 1X
or 2x. At most dept stores I’m a 2x. The 2x for this top fit perfectly. I am 5’6” tall.
I hand wash these, spin on low cycle then remove shake and stretch out the fabric a bit back to its original size then hang to dry. If needed I lightly touch up with a steamer.

Fantastic, IF you hang to dry ;)
Wash in cold and hang to dry. I deducted one star for the cleaning instructions that state you can dry in dryer. I love these but last year I purchased 4 of these and dried in the dryer and they came out faded, shrunk and bottom hem was all stretched out. Super disappointed. This year I LOVED the flame color so I gave it another chance. I washed in cold and hung to dry and it came out Perfect!!!! Just like the day I purchased. Now I can’t stop buying these!!!! I came back for more, and more colors. As others have stated light colors are transparent, but with nude bra and light colored shorts/pants/skirt I can pull it off. Great alone on those hot/hot days and fantastic layering pieces.
