Nice, but weird fit
Light airy linen. Loose unstructured design. Perfect topper for any outfit dressy or casual. I wanted to love it, but the fit is weird. While the overall design is unstructured the front placket/box plate has added material to make it stiff, which is odd. Also, the high low hem doesn’t work well with light airy linen. The fit is described as oversized. I normally wear EF size 2x. I decided on size 3x because I wanted the fit exaggerated; it was too small, I couldn’t close the front. I love the fabric, I love the concept; it just didn’t work for me.

The material is stiff and the cut is not good
The picture looks better than the real fit. I guess The idea of this piece is good , but the wrong cloth material is chosen. It looks still on the body. Besides there’s something wrong with the cut.

Exotic but still Classic
Bought in Zinc to layer over handkerchief linen tank dress. Awesome. For me, the key is to pair it with a sleeveless and simple EF top or dress. Yes, it's delicate, so nix the jewelry. This jacket makes enough of a statement on its own.

loose threads great jacket tho
I really like this jacket. It suits its purpose. I was a little surprised though there were a few loose strings and I had to snip them off with with scissors. Other than that it is a good jacket I did think there would be better tailoring the loose strings (thread) were just annoying and surprising…

Not flattering
I am a size 1X and bought that size in white. I thought it was very in-flattering and would have needed a larger size to get the “flowing” look shown. I found it stiff and very sheer so in white the pockets really showed oddly through it. Not a flattering look for a curvy person.

Soft with a nice drape
Nice and soft after hand-washing and hanging to dry. I like the un-ironed look.
I am 5’6”, 128 lbs and I like the fit of size S. I bought this on sale and it’s a great value. Not certain I would have paid full price.

Favorite jacket!
I love this jacket very much. I purchased the same one in cream years ago and it’s been my go to ever since. I had always wanted one in black so i was excited to find it, and on sale, what more can I ask for. Elevates every outfit yet light as air, I almost forget I have it on. Love, love, love! EF never disappoints.

I love linen gauze and I thought I would go wild over this style. I bought two colors, but unfortunately it did not work on me. I think it would be better on a tall, thin woman.

Odd unsatisfactory fit, prone to wrinkle
Bought because I am seeking a light duster in true white instead of ivory. Tried this but was disappointed with bad fit. An odd narrow cut. High in front, lower in back which isn't always flattering on larger bustline. Made the garment look hiked up in front by the bustline instead of looking as if it's intentionally shorter in front. Fabric very prone to wrinkling.

I bought one of these for myself and one for my stepdaughter. We both love it. To me, the way the pockets pouch out a little is one of the details that makes it. Also love the slits in the side. I was afraid this would be too only-for-dressup or else too potato sack-y but find it to be very versatile. We all have different bodies and expectations, but I disagree with those who have said it should have more fabric or that the fabric is too scratchy or wrinkly. I don't wear as much linen as I'd like because of the wrinkle factor, but I have been wearing this on vacation, where I don't have access to an iron, and think it looks great. I got the tan and will wear it into the fall. I like clothes that have a real presence without being too formal looking and this fits the bill (though you could certainly dress it up if you want). My husband loves it too. ;).

Nice Jacket But Not For Me
I was looking forward to wearing this jacket that looks so nice on the model. I also saw it on EF store sales person and liked it very much. Unfortunately it did not work for my curvy figure, since the jacket is cut straight, with not flier. Patch pockets positioned over the side seams attract unnecessary attention to the hips. In addition to it the front of the jacket did not stay put but everted. I tried various sizes but the result was the same. This jacket will look good on a boyish figure and maybe when its fabric became softer after wearing/washing. The low rating represents my personal experience only. This jacket will be great for a person with the right body shape, so I recommend it.

Nice Jacket But...
I love the jacket; the dark zinc color, length, and fabric. However, for this price I think that it skimps on the amount of fabric. It does not have any extra material at all. I have the XL and normally a jacket like this would flow and have plenty of material to go around. This jacket needs a couple more inches in the front panels. I kept it, but it is not perfect. I think it could have been measured better. I am sure that I will not be the only one who notices this unfortunate issue.

Versatile jacket
Purchased this jacket in the beautiful zinc color. This lightweight summer jacket is a perfect addition to my wardrobe. The zinc color is similar to graphite and goes well with some of my Eileen Fisher clothing that is in the graphite color. The jacket is very versatile and can be worn with denim, the system maxi dress, or slacks. This jacket is the perfect weight for summer and early fall. I love it so much plan on purchasing the natural color also. I sized down to a medium and the jacket fit perfect with enough room for layering.

Easy Breezy style
Received this today and as attractive as I imagined. Bought it in the Zinc color which is a nice change of pace from white or beige especially for summer wear. I initially had women's Large in my cart but prior experience has taught me that when it comes to EF jackets/cardigans/sweaters I need a bit of extra room across my chest so did order womens XL and glad I did for the better fit that mirrors the look on the model. Although I am 5"2' it did not at all feel or look too oversized or long so am very happy about that. I am not sure how much socializing I'll be doing this summer but hope springs eternal that this will last for many a summer to come. BTW, I did mention to the sales associate online that I wish EF would give serious thought to adding petite XL to the line of tops and jackets/ cardigans for those of us who need that extra bit of roominess across the chest. Medium and/or large in pants is fine but that petiteXL for tops would make many of us women very happy. All in all, this gauzy jacket is a winner and great addition to the line.

Love this gauze jacket!
Bought natural color, it's so soft and not as ''thin'' as another linen gauze shorter jkt I have from a while ago. The pockets seem to be more at the sides (if you watch the video they do seem to be on the model slightly too)..the side seams are a little to the back, it doesn't seem too oversized to me, but I do like my things looser. All in all, very wearable and light and flows. Love it!
