Lightweight & breathable
I like that this pant is lightweight and breathable. My only comment is that the upper thigh portion of the pant is a little snug and then the pant releases to depict the photo. Since I have become accustomed to a bit of spandex in other pants which offer more stretch.

Not a success, returned but no refund.
I returned these pants a month ago because they did not fit. So far, I have not received a refund for the return. Overall, there was little joy and much aggravation in this shopping experience. The size M seemed enormous, and actually I bought a second pair of linen pants in size S, and that was also large. So I would not ever order any future Eileen Fisher clothing; I used to buy Fisher twenty years ago, and still have some of those pieces, but honestly, the sizing is not consistent with other contemporary clothing lines.

Linen Check Straight Pant
These pants were a nice material and fashionably tailored. Unfortunately the pants were much wider than I like to wear. The word straight gave me the wrong impression. So back they went.

Perfect for summer
These are perfect lightweight sumer pants. So comfy in hot weather! The fabric is sturdy, not fragile at all, but it breathes beautifully. It is linen, it wrinkles some, that is what it is supposed to do.
4 instead of 5 stars because it is a little challenging to wardrobe. The pattern is brown, not black. I happened to have a washable brown silk EF tank in the back of my closet - Perfect!.

Pajama pants
I bought these a couple of months ago. I looked at the material and thought to myself 'These are going back' but then I tried them on and they looked good so I kept them. The real part is that they look good for about 10 minutes and then they look like you slept in them. Should have sent them back.

Cool and comfortable, a pleasing look
Comfortable, cooling especially in this boiling summer, I’m wearing them as I type. I bought several more, one pair to keep in our getaway place. Light as air, I wear them at home, or outside paired with an EF shell or long, cotton shirt.

No stretch in the fabric
I ordered these pants online because they looked like a perfect summer piece for So Cal. However, when they arrived, I realized that there was no stretch in them, i.e., they would become shapeless in a short time, and sitting in them wouldn't be particularly comfortable. But they do look good when you put them on!

Material is too thin
Was disappointed by these pants. The material was extremely thin and see thru and pants looked cheap. I have a jacket and dress in this same linen check but the material on these pants is totally different. Would have kept if they had been the same.

Pocketless Pants
I bought these pants because I've just about worn out the similar pair I bought several years ago. They are the same linen check fabric. This new pair doesn't have pockets, though. I miss them.

Extremely lightweight, non-clingy fabric that’s terrific for hot weather. It requires a top to cover my buttocks. Simple elastic waist for easy on and off. It’s not a bright white, and the checked pattern seems to be a shade of gray that will match most any color. Fits true to EF sizing. Oh, it washed very well!

Could be perfect
These pants could be perfect, if they had pockets. Beautiful light weight linen, no tapering (a huge plus), straight but not too narrow legs. So sick of seeing skinny leg pants everywhere, on everyone. At 5’4”, 135, size XS is perfect.

Great fit
It is much hotter than I expected when I moved to Tennessee and these pants are perfect./. The fit is smooth across the stomach so its very flattering. I am not a huge fan of cropped but the slit gives it a flare.

Pajama material?
I never thought I would rate an EF product with one star but this one deserves it. I love linen for how comfortable it is in the hot, humid weather but these pants and matching top feel and look like pajamas. The first time I wore them, I realized that even the color of panties was visible through the fabric. I am well aware linen wrinkles but this outfit very quickly looked like I slept in it. The tag says tumble dry low so I did that and took the garments out still damp. Both were so wrinkled I knew ironing was mandatory. I wish I had known all this before I removed the tags. If I could, I would return top and bottom. Very, very disappointing.

Great pants
I am 5’ 4” and 125lbs. Usually I feel like linen pants with an elastic waist makes me look puffy, but these do not! They are soft enough to hang nicely. I did hem them 2 1/8” to be at a cropped length, but bring straight they were so easy to hem. I got the XS which works great.
