The fabric is not very thick. Even in black it is see through. The neck size is large.

Great all-occasion summer dress.
This is a perfect dress for warm summer days when I have an event, when I work, for dinners out, and even for a walk in the park. It's light and cool and always looks good. And thank you for the sleeves!

Great Essential Dress
This dress is very flattering. The line of the dress which is slimmer at the bottom emphasizes slender legs and skims over hips, thighs or waist. I am 5 feet 5 inches and it hits just above my knee. The length and width at the hem allow you to sit comfortably. No worry about it riding up and showing too much thigh. A great dress for layering or over leggings or slim legged pants. It runs large I had to size down. I have broad shoulders so neck line is perfect for me. Both choker length and longer necklaces and scarves work with this dress. Love the pockets. I live in the Deep South and will wear this year round. Wore dress with one of the Delave linen shirts on top as a jacket and the dolman sleeves fit underneath. The sleeves hit me almost at the elbow so do not feel self conscious about my upper arms when wearing dress alone. Machine washes well in cold water and I hang it too dry. After several wears I wash and then take to cleaners to be pressed. Considering buying this style in other colors!

Not quite right
a little too large on top, but then a little small on the lower half. I very much miss the A-line shape of your former dresses, which are by far the most flattering on larger women.
