Perfect for Summer Styling
I bought this blouse a few months ago and am finally wearing it. It is wonderful for me….a boxy, thigh length with fabulous pleating in the back. It also has long sleeves that can be rolled up. I can wear this with any style pant and even over any length dress. I read that others were not pleased, but this blouse is perfect for me. After purchasing the Seafoam color, I have purchased two others and will probably purchase the Aegean color as well. Thank you Eileen for this blouse that is a perfect fit for me.

Beautiful linen shirt, size down when ordering!
I usually wear an EF Medium. It was enormous on me. Fortunately, I tried it on at the store and was able to try smaller sizes. I purchased an XS! I went down two sizes and still have comfortable room. The Geranium color is stunning!

Aegean is a wonderful color
That’s one reason I am keeping this shirt. I ordered a size down (and couldn’t go any smaller because the shoulders are not overly wide). The sleeves are very roomy because of the dropped seam. I don’t understand who wants extra bulk in the upper arm area. But with sleeves rolled up, the shirt will be very comfortable inthe summer. And again, Aegean is marvelous!

Beautiful color linen shirt. Unfortunate details.
This is a color which is perfectly suited to my Eileen Fisher wardrobe and my personal color preferences. That is why I was hoping for this shirt to work. Unfortunately, the extreme size and shape of this shirt will be the reason why I return it. That said, I am hoping very much for EF to make their regular fit handkerchief linen shirt in this color!!!!!

Huge, with dropped shoulders
Having just purchased a size XL in the Tulip handkerchief linen shirt and being generally pleased with the fit (after rolling the too-short sleeves), I ordered the same XL in this longer version. Wow, what a difference. I enclose two photos that show the shoulders and the width at the bust. Keeping in mind both are size XL, the tulip has a bust of 50 inches, and the Aegean a bust of 59 inches. It's the dropped shoulders that create such a ridiculously wide torso. Further, there's some odd pleating and a seam down the back of the longer version, which adds even more fullness. Returned with regret, as the Aegean color is beautiful.
