Generous cut
My goal was an ankle pant that I could pair with boots like the photo. I liked the cut, length and fabric. The pant is also high waisted which is flattering. The only problem I had was that the thigh was too generous for my size. I’m 5’ 4” and ordered a 4. I have somewhat thin legs. Sadly, I had to return.

Versatile, good quality pant!
Nice fabric, good quality, not too heavy or too light; fits well as long as I don't over indulge in ice cream. They are not cropped on me as I'm petite, but that's fine as they will be a bit more versatile at this length. I'm especially happy as I didn't have to pay full retail!

Sizing malfunction
While the style is right-on, the fit was uncharacteristic for my experience of Eileen Fisher jeans. My usual size is 6, but this one fit everywhere but the waist. I wear two other EF higher-waisted style jeans in size 6 that fit perfectly. Consistency in sizing is so important, especially when ordering online!
