Jeans not sized correctly.
I have bought Eileen Fisher jeans many times. These were not sized correctly. They were listed S petites, but were at least 6 inches too long. I had to return them.

comfortable, good looking
These jeans fit nicely (true to size), with just enough stretch to make them comfortable for all-day wear, even when you’re cooped up driving or sitting. I wish the price weren’t so high and the color were a little more blue, but you can’t always get what you want, can you?

Please, please, please offer more options in full length jeans, as well as more product! What is currently offered gets sold out quickly. I understand that cropped is in right now but those of us in colder climes prefer full length.

Close To Perfect
I bought these because I wanted high-rise, full-length jeans. I ordered in size 8, which fits me almost perfectly -- the length and the 11'' rise are just right. I wish the jeans were a tad narrower in the thigh area, but I recognize that my perception of appropriate fit likely has been influenced by years of the skinny jeans trend.
These aren't "boyfriend" jeans, but neither are they "skinny" -- they're described as straight, and that's exactly what they are. The fabric is heavier than what I've encountered in most skinny jeans, and the percentage of stretch material is lower (2%). I find them comfortable to move in, but they're definitely not as stretchy as jeans with a higher (in some cases, much higher) percentage of stretchy fiber.
I'm 5'6" and in EF pants I normally take a small or medium, depending on the style and material. In these jeans, size 8 worked -- I definitely couldn't have sized down or up.
I really like the aged indigo color -- it's exactly what I was looking for.

Just What I Want ... if they last!
These fit well and I was pleased to see a full-length inseam back in the lineup. I do wish these were available in a darker blue instead of faded and I am crossing my fingers that the fading in the crotch area (which has been happening with Eileen Fisher jeans for a while, perhaps due to the organic dyeing process?!?) doesn't happen. If these don't fade with a few wears then I definitely plan to purchase more.

A great fitting jean
The high rise and fit of these jeans is very comfortable and I don't have the problem of having to yank them up. At 5'6", I'm long-waisted with shorter legs. The regular length is just a smidge too long but works with boots in winter. I'll try the petite length next time for a shorter length with summer sandals. I like the stronger denim which has just enough stretch, but not like skinny jeans.

Dislike the new fit
I agree with the reviewers who don't appreciate the high waist. Not only is the waist high, but it is uncomfortably tight on me, which is unusual—especially because the size 4P fit well in the hips and thighs.
I also agree that the fabric is too thick and stiff. I am still wearing a pair of EF jeans I bought at least 10 years ago, and I guess I'll just keep wearing them until Eileen comes up with something that comfortable once again.

Petite 2P fits me well. The material is not too thick with a bit of stretch. High waist style to my liking. I wear size 0 for active pants, and size 26 for most brand name jeans.

Old school "thick denim" - no stretch
Perhaps I was sent the wrong pair, but the jeans I received were thick denim, with no stretch at all. Reminded me of Levi's from the 80s. I returned because I was expecting/hoping for EF's lightweight stretch denim from a few years ago. I'm 5'9" and 53" hip... I ordered 18W, which was the right size. They were VERY high waisted on me, despite my height, and felt like old school Mom Jeans. The length was perfect on me.

Great jeans!
Despite the cost, I purchased these jeans because they fit so well. It is hard for me to find jeans that fit as well as these do. The shop assistant helped me choose the size, pointing out that cotton will relax as you wear it. At 5'2" I usually have to shorten trousers, but the 2 petite was the perfect length, and I love the high rise. Thinking about another pair!

Love these jeans!
I bought these jeans in a size 6 but were to big so I reordered a size 4 (they do run a little large) and love them. They are high rise and hit my waist perfectly. I like the straight leg, will probable buy another pair, I like so much.

High-Waisted
I usually love EF jeans, but these are nearly 2 inches higher in the waist than pairs I have from prior years, and I simply could not wear them. And there does not appear to be any difference if you try a petite size - still very high in the rise. If you are long-waisted, though, this would be a good year to stock up. I hope they go back to a normal rise in the future.

We are not 20
I own 2 pair of similar jeans - dark blue and black that are mid-rise. Love them. These have a very high waist, and are tight across the waistband. We are not 20......that's why we buy Eileen Fisher.

Not what I was hoping for.
I was so excited when these came out - I own many, MANY EF pieces and this is the first time that the sizing was off. I own the boyfriend jeans in size 8. All my other pants are small, but I ordered these in a size 10 to make them more roomy. Way too tight and the fabric was not stretchy at all. Sadly, had to return them. Big disappointment.

Plus size jeans true to size
I know a lot of customers for Eileen Fisher are petite, so they'll be disappointed in this review by a 6 foot tall plus sized lady. These jeans fit "true to size"...Most of my Eileen's are size 2X with some items 1X. I wasn't sure how that would translate with an 18W or 20W, so I tried both. The 18s are just fine for my pear shaped body. The length is perfect for me, the waist is exactly right. The color is just perfect. They washed down fine.
