It will always be subtly but delightfully crushed as that is the nature of the fabric. Nice and simple design with that subtle edge.

The organic cotton steel stand up collar coat
Eileen Fisher makes really fine quality clothing. That’s reflected in this piece, however the white buttons made it look cheap and I felt like looked like a lab coat. It wasn’t feminine at all.

Did I need another steel coat?
Yes! I did! This is my favorite fabric - I now own 7 coats. I have them in grey, bone, bramble and ivory. For warmer seasons - or, year round in FL - you can't beat this to elevate an outfit. I have them in satin fabric for dressy occasions, cotton for anytime, and all styles EF offers. I had to buy the dress to match the coat, and on it goes! How smart to have a fabric that is crinkled before you put it on? Thanks to EF for using the same, and complementary, colors of clothing every new season. It really allows you to build a mix-and-match wardrobe.
