Very Comfortable, More Elevated
I have lantern pants in linen and I did not like the fit - the material was thin, and I found the button and zipper closure uncomfortable. The cotton ripple material is much nicer, in my opinion. Slightly structured, still light and comfortable, but a bit nicer than sweats. The ripple gives an interesting textural aspect without clashing. I’m glad I took a chance on these. For reference: I am 5’9 and they hit just below my ankle, size 22/24 and I bought a 3X - they fit a little loose a the waist, and are what I would consider high-waisted. I have an apron belly, but my waist is much smaller than my hip and the few pleats in the front help hide my stomach. The only draw back is that when I sit down I have to adjust the pants because the pleats cause the fabric to puff in a way that looks silly. I just smooth it down or pull the waistband up.

Machine wash and dry ripple lantern pant
Had planned to pair EF's ripple lantern pants with her white crinkled organic cotton shirt and her geranium top, then decided has a practical matter that white wouldn't work well for me. Definitely recommend these pants to others who appreciate machine wash and dry as much as I do.
