I'm petite (5') and the regular size fits just above the ankle (which I prefer), as apposed to mid-calf. The fabric is thick enough to look great with boots and a thin turtleneck under for colder temps. I have black and blue.

Should have bought this before my trip in August
Took a 15 day trip through Mediterranean in Aug to realize I should have bought this dress before my I left -was watching my budget.
Amazingly hot and humid. All my clothes seemed a bit too warm, even gauze tops were pushing it. Noticed so many women in dresses and a lot of linen.
Upon my return, I bought 2 colors RIPPLE left in my size- (runs big, purple and blue) Lightweight,
very flattering and perfect for hot humid climate.
Im a size 14 and 5’8” pear shape. I wear cotton slip with it, light does show silhouette.
Big love for this fun style- Bravo!

Awesome dress
This dress is amazing. Comfortable, flattering, and an interesting design. I'm 130lbs and 5'2" and the XS fit perfectly. Pair with a blazer and it's appropriate for work. Pair with fancy necklace and it's good for evening. Please make this in more colors and fabrics!!

Easy to wear and care for. I think the key to not having it look like a sack is to get the smallest size your chest with allow. Armholes are not oversized at all. The dress does balloon out, but in a fun, carefree way to me. On a sunny day, your silhouette is visible even in black if that bothers you. Great with tennis shoes or heels…accessories definitely define it. Great for summer and will easily transition to fall with a cropped sweater or jacket. And I am a pocket lover and these pockets have great placement. I love it!

Great dress but why no petite version?
This is a wonderful dress...fabric, color choices, shape...and completely inaccessible to anyone under 5'5". There appears to be a broader trend of not making the most interesting dresses available to the "height challenged", leaving us with only the most utilitarian option and no style. And, for a dress like this, the cost of alteration is almost half the cost of the dress itself. It feels like there are assumptions regarding what the petite population is looking for that need to be changed.

“THE” dress!
I tried this dress on almost the second it arrived and was not disappointed. It fit me like someone had taken my measurements. i bought the nimbus color which is just beautiful. it a soft and versatile color which is enhanced by any number of complimentary scarves, jewelry, etc. i do believe i need this in another color….

Best Summer Dress

Love the heliotrope color, and the fabulous cotton ripple fabric. I find the lantern design intriguing—probably best for a tall person. So I do love this dress! However, I wish the arm holes weren’t so tight.

Great color but fit just ok
I bought the knit lantern dresses and loved them so purchased this one as well in an XS like my others. The top was a little tight but the bottom part was baggy and stuck out because the fabric is somewhat stiff. I really liked the color and wanted to love this dress but it didn’t fit me well. I hope that Eileen will come out with other colors in the knit version of the lantern dress and make one with 3/4 sleeves for the cooler weather.

gorgeous color, fits like an inflated grocery bag
I'm a big fan of EF and their crackerjack customer service. Their styling and fabrics combine comfort with elegance but this dress is simply dowdy and the feel of the material is not pleasant against the skin. Loved the color, though. I hope they make something in this hue that works. This one is on its way back.

I love this dress. It feels elegant and casual at the same time. I got compliments the first time I wore it. It feels beautiful. My only complaint is that the sleeve holes feel a little tight.
