New favorite- crisp cardigan or shirt jacket
I was told as a child that navy and black don’t match, and I somehow still believed that until I got this jacket, and I’m so glad. I also got the crinkle maxi skirt in black, and wide leg jeans. Although, my original idea was to wear it buttoned over a navy maxi dress. It only took a black tank, and a white tank, to turn this jacket into a couple of great outfits. If you want it to fit like an oversized shirt jacket, you might want to size up. The matching pants might make me want lanterns pants for the first time.

Unhappy for the first time
I bought this a couple of months ago along with the pants. By the way, it were listed as navy, but it’s tiny black and blue checked. That was my first EF disappointment, but I kept it anyway because I have another similar suit that I like and I thought I might like it as much and while , technically it doesn’t have inside pockets, it does have a little inside pocket space and I always LOVE that so I can keep my phone in there so I do like that aspect.. But neither the matching (straight leg) pants nor the jacket came out as crisp as they started in the wash. I always wash things very carefully according to instructions before I wear them. They kind of lost their pucker, especially the pants. And both. lose their cute shape when you wear them. The pants kind of totally lose their pucker when you sit down in them. I actually paid full price for this which really kills me because I always prefer to buy everything on sale. I usually rate everything four or five but this time it’s just very average and disappointing and expensive for a disappointment. I really have to say I’m so sorry to even write a review like this, but I think the quality is going down.
A solid navy color would’ve been so much better, so the combination of things is an EF disappointment.
Plus the only color tap that really looks good with a suit as a black top and that’s another disappointment. You can’t really even wear a navy top with it..

beautiful jacket that goes with everything
I am so glad that I bought this jacket! I did size down in it as it was larger than my usual size. It goes great with jeans, or the matching pants which I also have. It looks great open or closed. I imagine wearing in all year round in Boston.

Nice basic jacket
I pondered a bit and then decided to keep the jacket. The PP, my usual size, fit my 5'1" 104 pound frame well. It also has the cute pleat detail in back, which gives it a bit of charm The hesitation was that I have other dark jackets in the same material with a similar look. It doesn't have a lot of personality and has to be dressed up a bit with interesting color top, necklace or pin. But for a good basic summer piece, particularly if you like the short jacket style, I would recommend it.
