Too shapeless
This got three stars because of the fabric - stretchy, substantial (not see-through even in white, about which I'm quite picky) and yet crisp and comfortable. Very appealing. But even though I ordered a size smaller than my usual, there was so little shape through the body that it looked like a sack. I also did not like the below the knee length for a summer dress.

Nice classic shirt dress
Love the classic style of this shirt dress. It can be dressed up or down. I am petite and much of Eileen Fisher clothes don’t work for me but this had a bit more shape. Since it was on sale I had a tailor take it in to be more fitted.

Stylish dress!
I love this dress! The fabric is a very nice weight, not sheer. The dress is loose fitting but still has a slim silhouette. This dress can be dressed up or down so it’s versatile. I’m 5’1 1/2” and 118 lbs (usually size 4) and size PP fits perfectly - even the length is just right!

I love this dress so much, although I got it on sale-I'm not sure I'd pay full price for it. But the design is great, even for my curves, which isn't always the case in shirt dresses. It hangs nicely, it has pockets, it's lightweight is great for when it's hot out. I usually get a petite medium and that's just right.

So pleased I bought two!
The organic Poplin Shirtdress is so nice, so very nice I purchased a second one. I plan to wear over skinny jeans. Two top buttons unbuttoned, then next four buttoned, then the remainder unbuttoned for a casual/dressy/chic look. Add a scarf, statement necklace, or in my case, long cardi and you have perfect outfit to be out and about (even if it’s only the grocery or post office). I do not mind that I may have to touch up with iron as I’ve always ironed my better clothes. I am 5’4” and weigh 180 lbs. The subtle A shape in size 1X fit perfectly. The feel and weight of the poplin is and the two side seam pockets are perfect.

I got this in a petite large and it's a good fit- not too long in the torso or tight across the hips. Comfortable, flattering, and a 'go-to' piece. My one wish it that the fabric would be a little lighter and less stretchy but that doesn't interfere with my wearing it.
