Inconsistent sizing
So disappointed with these pants. I bought them in two colors (graphite cotton ponte lantern in XS and seaweed cotton ponte lantern in XS, the latter on sale). They are dramatically different sizes; the graphite is flattering but the seaweed are very tight, like leggings in the butt and several inches shorter than the graphite. The price is incredibly high for the material - ponte and elastic - so while the cut is very nice, the pants look like sweatpants.

Fits waist, nice ease thru hips, modern shape
I've burned out on the typical EF cropped flood pants at this point. The lantern pant is ankle length but the tapered leg shape modernizes the length and spans seasons. Works with ankle boots, great with strappy platforms or birks in summer. The fabric is genius, washes and line dries like new. Seriously. Love this fabric which doesn't 100% prevent knee bagging but does fight it and snaps right back into shape with a wash. I have several pairs and reach for them often. Would love them in Ocean blue. Unlike flood pants, these really 'lengthen' my legs with the right footwear.

LOVE these pants, but why are they not stocked?
I bought the very last pair of these pants in a size small. Only fabric of lantern pant that works for me. The reason I am not giving these pants 5 stars is because I can't buy more of them. Eileen Fisher please stock these pants again. I would like to purchase more pairs!

My new favorite pants!
Comfortable and stylish, I think these are my new go-to bottoms! I like the length—just above the ankle on me at 5’5”, not too cropped. At 189#, I was surprised that the Medium was the better fit instead of the Large; they’re a little high in the crotch at the moment, but I’m slowly losing weight so they’ll be perfect soon (and not uncomfortable now). The lantern cut is great for someone like me with hips and a belly. My first pair are very dark green, and I’ve since bought them in black.

My new favorite pants.
I bought a medium and large. The fit is generous so the medium fit best but I kept both. I love the fit, feel and look of these and would have bought more but sadly they sol out in the medium. Hopefully the next sale will have my size in more colors.

Not for me.
Material is not that far from OG Walmart sweats. I cannot look polished in that material for a long day at work. I like the concept. Not practical. I like the pattern but crotch area is strange.

A great pant
A Great pant from the fabric to the design to the color in gray. Also they have a nice flat waistband which I prefer to the gathered type waistband of the linen lantern pants. This will be a staple in my late summer to fall wardrobe. Thank you Eileen, another winner.

Happy Legs
I love the style of the pants and the drape of the fabric. I bought a size which was too large and when I tried to get my size it was sold out all over the country which shows you how popular the style is with others! I did manage to get the pants in green and which I am happy about.
I have loved lantern pants for years and found these are dressier and drape beautifully.

These pants have a nice weight to them, making them lay nicely on my body and skimming over my legs easily. I really liked the way they hold their shape. I am 5'5", 150 lbs and usually wear a solid 8 in bottoms - I bought these in a small and they are perfect.

You never know until you do a “try on”.
I love Eileen Fisher and was anxious to try a new silhouette. Well , even though the fabric and color didn’t disappoint, the lantern shape did. It made me look even bigger than I am already.
Now I know, this silhouette is not for me. I returned it and bought another.
