Perfectly petite, put-together knit lantern pant
The lantern pant is my favorite fit, and the melange crepe fabric is a knit with a little crispness, giving a sort of structured feel to the pant. I bought this in gray previously. I was going to buy a natural linen lantern pant but since I have a couple of linen lantern pants that need more care than I am willing to give or afford, I chose these. They are a light beige (oat, I think it’s called) and totally basic Seattle casual summer wearable. True to size in Petite Small for 5’2” 110 lbs.

Old baggy pants too soon
The material was too thick due the mixture of synthetic fabrics & natural ones. I thought I had checked the label. Don’t like mostly synthetic fabrics as they don’t wear well. These looked worn already.

These run huge
Wow these are huge! I usually wear S-M in pants, ordered M and was swimming in them. They were huge on the butt area, had a front "pouch" too. Since Eileen doesn't publish much sizing information, not sure if XS or S would suit me. The material is very thin so bear this in mind while ordering, I probably wouldn't wear this in winter, even a mild one.

Loved the pants but the larger size was very baggy
I love the style and fabric of these pants. I ordered one size larger than I ordinarily would because my regular size was not available (L). These are very baggy. I thought they would shrink a little in the wash, but they just bagged out again as I wore them. Very comfy, and great around the house, but a little too baggy to wear out in public. I wish that my regular size was available. I didn't return them since I washed them.

Organic Cotton Melange Crepe Lantern Pant
The fabric is beautiful. I haven't washed yet, so I can't speak on how well it'll hold up after repeated washings. The fit is nice and I love the high rise of the pants. I gave them three stars because I'm not crazy about the lantern shape leg. I prefer slouchy or slightly tapered legs on my pants.

Huge, way oversized
Oh, dear! These pants are huge. Could have fit two of me in there. Didn’t bother sizing down because they were also very heavy. Too bad because the color was lovely and would have gone with the silk georgette button down shirt I bought at the same time.

Love the pants!
As always I love your lantern pants. I am now saving up for the matching jacket in Ocean, but it is a bit expensive for an elderly Brit! Hopefully it will come in the sale!

Fabulous pant!
I absolutely adore this pant! This is my first purchase of an EF lantern pant (but certainly not my last!) and I purchased it in two colorways, wheat and nocturne. The fabric is beautiful (love EF's melange fabrics), and the topstitched seams and pockets are nice dressmaker details. Comfortable like a sweatpant, but much more stylish and polished. For reference, I'm 5'6" and 141 lbs. and purchased an XXS.

My Miracle Pants.
I am at a point in my life where I know what works for me. I want to be comfortable but not sloppy. I want to be able to machine wash everything and never have to iron anything. I'd like for my clothes to be stylish but not trendy. I like clothes that can span seasons. Basically I want a miracle performed in my closet everyday. These pants are miraculous. I have 15 pairs in 5 different colors and several different weights. I should be ashamed to admit that, but I'm not.

Very classy design and good material suitable for colder days. I love lantern pants! Speaking of which, I really missed your 2016 (2017?) piece made of washable stretch crepe without pleats. Perhaps you will consider bringing it back? In deep black, please?

Fabric is stiff and has a rough hand. Even though it is a knit, not much stretch and pulled at the pockets. On the positive side, I find the lantern pant flattering. I returned them.

Excellent addition to my closet!
These are great pants. Unlike another reviewer, I love the balloon legs. I tend to wear my pants a little slouchy and loose - it's often the most flattering fit for my short-waisted pear shape. The fabric is nice and they integrate well into my relaxed-with-a-hint-of-polish wardrobe. I liked them so much I got a second pair!

Beautiful fabric and chic/casual look.
So comfy and chic. Great material. I had bought an XL in the store in blue, then promptly came home and looked for a 1X in additional colors because I thought a little looser would make them even cooler looking. I was wrong and returned this grey 1X because it was a little too dumpy looking. Half of my EF pants are XLs and half 1Xs...turns out this is a style that works better for me in the smaller size. But yes---I recommend it.

Sizes are Off
I love the style, material, and everything about it. However, I also purchase these same pants in two more color, grey and ocean blue. The grey and ocean color in XS fits very well, this color was super huge in XS. I decided to keep it and hoping that it would shrink once it’s been washed. Love this material!

Brown Pants
Fabric was stiff & scratchy. It "wore me". I did "not wear it". I felt I was covered in stiff fabric. I can't imagine where you would wear it. Also bought the top, so I was really swallowed by it.
