What is the purpose of the big patch pocket?
I love these shirts, but recently you've added a big single patch pocket which serves no purpose. The simple kind of patch pocket you put on your products now, actually imho, takes away from the attractiveness. Please re-think.

Almost, but just not for me...
I really love Eileen Fisher's long sleeved shirts. I have many EF shirts in different fabrics and different colors (silk, linen, cotton). I have a Lofty Gauze cotton shirt in black from a few years ago, in size XL, which is my typical size in EF long-sleeved shirts, so I thought I'd order more shirts in this style in different colors. So, in September 2024, I ordered two of the "Organic Cotton Lofty Gauze Classic Collar Long Shirt," one in Seaweed and one in Heliotrope, both in size XL, my usual size (I like slightly oversized shirts). Both colors are beautiful, each with its own personality. The shirts were well constructed and designed. The fabric was very nice and lightweight. When I held the shirts and admired them, they looked perfect.
But, when I tried these shirts on, they just didn't look good on me. They seemed huge. The chest pocket gapped and flopped open and looked sloppy. I tried wearing the shirts in a number of ways, casually open over a linen tank, buttoned, sleeved rolled up, sleeves down...it didn't matter how I tried the shirts, I think size XL in this style and fabric was just much too large and boxy for me (for size reference: 5'6", 38DD, hips about 43").
I returned the two shirts because I knew I wouldn't wear them, regardless of how beautiful they looked when I wasn't wearing them (!). These shirts might be great for someone, but not for me (I prefer Eileen Fisher's linen and silk shirts...).

Buy it!
The fabric, color and fit of this shirt make it one of my favorites for summer. It's a generous fit. I am tall and sometimes wear a size xl but didn't need it in this shirt.

Nice and roomy~ runs large however that’s my preference!
Cozy and airy for any day. Love the Esmeralda color! Bring it back in other shirts and dresses! Someone needs a promotion for naming the color!🎉👏🏻❤️

Love EF cotton gauze
I love cotton gauze, and this shirt is beautiful. However, the sizing appears off and I had to reorder a smaller size. For that reason my rating was a 4 star instead of 5.

Petite Runs Huge
I was so excited to bring this gorgeous shirt on our trip however when it arrived it was enormous! I used to be a standard petite medium until EF sizing changed. Now it appears I’m a XS petite.
EF, please get more consistent sizing or change your charts! I wish I lived close to a store to try on.

Love this shirt!
Love the soft material! It’s sooo comfortable and cozy! Looks great layered over tanks! Took it on vacation to Europe and was so glad I did! You can dress it up or down. Great for travel! It’s classy and comfortable!

Great color but GIGANTIC
I bought this in Esmeralda (green). It is pretty fabric; however the size Small is a whopping 24 in wide from armpit to armpit. A shirt I bought about 2 summers ago is 20 inches. I may keep it, but EF fit is getting extremely wide... be aware of this when choosing size.

Purple Paradise!
I was looking for a cotton gauze shirt that I could use as a primary shirt or lightweight cover-up over a shell or short sleeve tee when the AC gets very cold here in South Florida. This shirt checks off all the boxes. My husband said that the Heliotrope color was unusual and outstanding looking. The gauze material is comfortable and has an excellent drape and an elegant flow due to the fabric’s texture and stitching. The river buttons add an elegant touch! The shirt fits true to size. The side slits were not ridiculously long. I am 5’03” with broad shoulders and an apple shape, and I was not overwhelmed which happens quite often in these longer shirts. EF, please make a shift dresses in these vibrant colors and cotton gauze material but with short SLEEVES. I would love to add another winner to my closet! 💜

Nice shirt too hot for FL
I bought this when it first came out, multiple pants, tees, and shirts and even though they wash well, don’t shrink and keep their color, this fabric is way too hot for FL weather. Yes it’s soft but it’s solid and the air doesn’t circulate. Great buy if you’re inside or not in the Deep South. I also size the tops down as they’re very boxy.

Great, soft!
I bought this shirt in calypso with matching camisole dress. The dress is too large so I'm purchasing heliotrope so I can match shirt and dress. Great, soft gauze textile.
