The robes are so comfortable. Word to the wise........these robes run small. You know how Eileen usually runs big. Not in this case. I ordered a size up andl it's perfect.

Versatile robe
Needed a lighter robe when my cashmere was too heavy. Got the blue and it can be worn with any of the pajama colors. I don’t find the sleeves an issue. The slim cut looks polished ( I think).

I love Eileen Fisher but this robe is disappointing. The forearms are tight so you really can’t be wearing anything underneath. Just an odd fit all-around.

Just what I needed
Just what I needed. I was a little concerned based on prior comments, about the tight knit arms - but they are great! It's actually just how I'd want it. I'm at home in a caregiver role right now, and I wanted something to throw on quickly late at night and early in the morning before my shower. The tighter sleeves allow to easily keep them up while washing dishes or other household tasks. It actually stays closed, unlike so many light robes, so it's actually appropriate for around the house or answering the door. The weight is perfect to wear instead of throwing on a sweater or other layers, and quick to hang dry. And it looks and feels lovely!

Not the best design
Of course it's soft and delicious but I'm giving it three stars because in the pajama system there are four kinds of tops. A tank, a box top, a scoop neck top with loose flared sleeves and a tunic. The problem is that the sleeves on the robe are a tight fitting rib which doesn't accommodate for any of the tops with sleeves. They get all scrunched up making the arms uncomfortable and unsightly. I think that the sleeves of the tops should have been considered when designing the robe for the usual Eileen Fisher mix and match. I actually bought like 9 pieces.

Disappointed with Description
I was surprised sleepwear wasn't available in petites. I usually wear PP- PS tops and PS- PM bottoms. I was sure the s/m robe would be huge so I ordered the xs/xxs. It ran very straight and it was too tight. The weight of the robe was very, very light, like a summer robe. It has no substantial weight, and more of a coverup if you have company over.

I had such high hopes for this robe...
Was so looking forward to this robe, especially because it is organic cotton. Tried it on and the first thing I noticed was the ribbed sleeves were just a tad snug and I thought, that's ok, they will ease out a bit. I liked that they were longer than most EF sleeves. Then I looked in the mirror. Whoa! The drop sleeves, which I didn't realize it had (looking back, you can see it in the photo, but it's not mentioned in the description) made my shoulders look like a linebacker. I know I'm broad shouldered, but honestly...not the look I was going for. IMHO this robe would be a 5 star plus rating if the shoulder seam was where the shoulder ends.

As lovely as the rest of the sleepwear collection
Just like the other (4) pieces of sleepwear I bought in this collection, the robe is soft and well-made. It's a beautiful color of rose pink. Two well-placed pockets. I didn't size down.
